My own fault for not thinking it through. The slide hammer attachment is needed with this to yank the hub out of the knuckle. All this did was push the CV shaft out of the back side of the knuckle. If I were smarter I would have bought the complete kit to begin with. This tool is made well and I will need it once the slide hammer arrives. On another note, it bolted up perfectly to my 2011 Honda Civic hub.

Very good tool, strong I hit 10 times on a hub with my puller and it came out that's not much for a 190000km press fit hub. It won't pass the inner hub flange on ford escape 2015 so I added 3/4 inch washers or nuts under the tool to be able to bolt the puller straight so it won't damage the studs. My other kit wouldn't even bolt on being that it's a different kit. Saved lots of time doing my bearing job.

Quality is actually quite good unfortunately it did not work for our vehicles. Decided to keep it anyway because I repair most of my friends vehicles so I’ll find a use for it eventually.

I opted for this over the OTC brand of the same tool. A little cheaper and appeared to be very similar. Used it the day it came for a couple of stubborn rear hubs on a Ford focus. Worked flawlessly! I added a little anti seize to the threads just to keep wear and tear down but so far so good. I am a pro tech and this thing will get a good workout over the next year so I will update if anything changes, but I am very pleased with the puller for the price point!

I used it to get a stuck CV axle out of a hub on my 08 Civic SI and it worked well. The threads can take a lot of abuse as I had to really tighten it down with my impact and then smack the end with a hammer, and repeat this process a handful of times to get the axle out.

I bought this for a buddy of mine, who needed to remove the wheel bearings on his car, and couldn't get the assembly off. We tried everything else, and so it came down to this. It worked beautifully. The wheel bearings were off within just a few minutes. It was amazing, and I was very impressed. We were able to take them and get the old ones pressed out and the new ones pressed back in after that, and we were done. Way easier than trying to use a breaker bar or anything else to get the wheel bearings off.
