This eraser pales in performance when compared to erasers I have previously purchased for the explicit purpose of erasing ink.While the white section easily erases pencil scribings, and the gray portion does, in fact, remove ballpoint ink, this tool does require more rubbing effort to erase ink than similar erasers that I have bought in the recent past. As the previous erasers seem to no longer be available, I was prompted to consider this product.Buy this item, certainly, if you need an ink eraser, but be prepared to have to exert somewhat more effort - perhaps by a factor of two - than you may have thought would be required to eradicate any inadvertent ballpoint pen ink slips and scribbles.

wonderful!!! Comparable to other brands that are now discontinued for ink erasures in drafting applications. works well for pencil and ink.

Had a hard time fining these erasers and once I got it, my son was happy I bought it. It worked out great as long as you don't erase too hard. Would recommend this to all 5 graders using ink pens for their school work.

Bought these for the whole class. They are hard to find but for grade 5 they come in very handy.The price was good enough that I could give all 27 one.

Staples and other stores no longer sell ink erasers - one sales clerk told me that they make holes in paper. I was delighted to find this product on Amazon, but they leave a big smudge when used either as ink or pencil erasers.
