I rarely write product reviews & am so impressed with this backpack. Two years into action with a 3rd, now 4th grade boy, and it still looks new. Everything else in the bag is a hot mess, but the bag carries on. It also has plenty of functional, usable pockets/straps.

Love this backpack. I work at U of M hospital, but I’m a HUGE buckeye fan. So naturally, this is my “work” backpack. I use it a minimum of 5 days a week and I’ve carried approx 30lbs of stuff in this bag and it held up with no negative effects. If you’re even THINKING about buying this backpack, do yourself a favor and just do it.

Stop the search and just get it! The pack has tons of pockets and is very well made. Other reviews describe seem/strap issues; but you can get that with any pack. This pack is big, well designed, and should last a few years. If the seems do give way after a year or two, just get the sewing kit out. I'm early 40's and cant believe folks don't take 10 mins to fix things anymore! Great pack and would order again and again!

My 8 year old loves this backpack. It's definitely a traditional size bag for adults, but not too big for a kid. The Longhorns logo is very nice, there are lots of pockets, and it has padding against the back area and straps for comfort. The front pocket has soft cloth inside for sunglasses, a separate area for a laptop, an area for pens/pencil storage, and a large compartment for books, etc. Will update after he uses it for a few months.

I bought this for my son for school and he loves it. It holds all his stuff including his winter coat he seems to leave in it all the time. It has held up quite well too.

My son used this backpack for around 7 days when the drink/mesh pocket on the side split. The water bottle was normal sized, so it's not like it was stretched beyond expectation. I contacted Amazon and they shipped us another that has been fine for a little over a month, so hopefully the original was just a fluke. Otherwise a good backpack.

My son and myself looked for the perfect book bag for going into middle school. We found this bag and he loved it. I was somewhat worried about quality. Upon receiving it, it is really really nice and he can show his own personal team spirt. The padding on back is really soft and feels comfortable. That is important to me as they have to carry books etc. We haven’t used the bag yet, therefore I cannot say how well it will hold up. Lots of pockets, and different storage areas. So I do like it along with my son. Also doesn’t look cheap. Very nice book bag. I will give an update later if it has issues with holding school supplies or books. So that other parents know. Only giving four stars ( in written review) due to the fact we haven’t used it yet so I cannot say how well it will hold up. Besides that it is a great book bag. My son and myself love it.
