This was a gift and she really liked it. Was easy enough for my teen to figure out how to do them on her own. Only thing is they don't really hold the scent. They are cute but kind of little, like votive size. Overall a good value as the kit had everything needed to make several little candles.

I purchased this candle making kit for my 12 year old daughter who loves to bake. I figured this has to be similar to baking yet something different to do. Ha! Wow does this set come with a lot of stuff and my daughter was over joyed by it!What is the neatest about this set is it comes with so much stuff that you can customize each candle to the scent, color and container/tin that you want. This was also beyond easy to read the directions and for my 12 year old daughter to basically do on her own with me in the room. The hardest part was melting the wax on the stove...I was fearful of her getting burnt. She really liked picking out the different colors of wax to mix into the clear wax and watching the color change. Then adding the scents until her heart desired. Next was the container and what tin matched the wax best. She really enjoyed giving them as gifts to family and being able to tell them she personally made them. We finished this purple tin (in the picture) and was able to refill it and reuse it. This is such a fun kit for kids, teens and adults who enjoy crafting. You get a lot for the money and it's a great quality gift to give. If we could give this 10 stars we would!

My daughter kept asking to make candles and I kept putting it off because I was worried it would be messy and time consuming. This kit could not have been more perfect. It comes with literally everything you need to get started. The first time we used it we did one brick of wax and made a single candle and I honestly felt bad that we didn't do more because it was really quick and cleanup was a breeze. Would definitelt recommend for anyone wanting to dip their toe in the candle making water but not have to buy a million different pieces/parts.

The directions are a bit wonky to read, but cute kit. Fun to make candles with nice scents. The wicks burned well and easy to make. I had to add wax to all of the candles to fill them. Pay attention to measurements and directions!
