Who put the two screws in these wheels at the factory, Baby Hulk??? I mean, the torque specs have got to be in Newtonmeters, at the highest. So, can someone tell me why ALL EIGHT SCREWS are SO tight, I'm destroying the wheels trying to get them out. This is BS at its finest.

Show off that great build with some flashy rims! These fit scx 24 and other small scale rc's and look good doing it, and the included weights are a nice touch.

They're not the nicest. Blemishes all over, somewhat poor machining of screws and inner rings. Over all though. I'm very satisfied. They weigh a good amount too. I paired them with the injora swamp stompers and yellow silicone inserts.

There is no question that these are good quality bead locks. The ‘rainbow’ coloring is neat, but I’m not personally a fan of it. I also dont dislike it.. it just is. Imagine the rainbow distortions on an oil slick, and that’s more or less what you get. They are nice and heavy thanks to the brass ring, but they are extremely difficult to assemble. I put on a set of injora rock crawler tires, but had quite a time of it. I probably spent well over an hour getting four tires mounted. I got a little faster once i had a few under by belt, but i snapped a number of screws also, and most of them have some signs of stripping. Fortunately the ones that snapped were mostly installed and thus the bead is still held secure. They do include extra fasteners (1.25mm hex bit key also included). And they do include several longer screws for mounting, which are indispensable. My guess is that this is caused, at least in part, by the negative offset, but man they tough. My hands were actually sore afterwards just from pinching the inner and outer covers close enough together to allow even the long screws to reach. My recommendation based on my experience with them is to remove the two screws that come preinstalled, take one or two of the long screws, get your beads lined up, and make a single connection. Dont screw anymore than necessary. If you can, use two long screws opposed, and then connect the smaller ones, before removing and replacing the long ones. Tighten slowly in a star pattern until you’ve fully captured the bead and then just go around and around tightening a smidge at a time.I did use an electric screwdriver for some of it, but gradual hand tightening is necessary as the screws get tight, or you will almost certainly end up snapping some. They are stainless steel (i think) or another non-ferrous alloy, so they wont rust, but they also are very soft and easy to strip or snap.If you’re looking for a nice heavy beadlock of good quality with a LOT of negative offset, these are a great option. I have no idea if these are more difficult than other negative offset wheels. Only that they’re not easy. Beyond that, they give an airtight seal and perform well in climbing. I gave four stars because they should include installation tool (which you can buy for $10 or so on amazon), even if they have to raise the price, given how much harder these are than regular (non-offset) bead locks. The only hesitation i have in fully recommending these is the difficulty of installing. Took away one star for this reason.

Looks great. Not a true beadlock wheel.
