THIS PIECE COVERS THE OIL COOLER AREA AND PROTECTS IT FROM ROCKS AND DEBRIT THAT MAY GET KICKED UP. PLUS IT LOOKS REAL NICE . QUALITY MATERIALS AND DURABILITY IS THERE . FUNCTIONS WELL AND WAS A GOOD BUY FOR THE MONEY AND WILL RECOND TO OTHERS TO MAKE THERE ROAD GLIDE LOOK AS SLICK AS MINE.

I don't know if it was road debris or what, but the outside of my radiator had gotten dented in and was a real eyesore. This thing covered up the damage and my bike look much sleeker. It took a little while to install, maybe 30 minutes, because you have to mount the bracket that it attaches to. Even with the added time, it wasn't that difficult and worth the little extra effort. Once mounted it actually screws in and is very secure, you don't risk hitting a bump and losing it on the road.
