I love cooking and have tried several oil sprayers. This one is my favorite. If you are comparing different options/designs, I encourage you to give this one a try.PROS:- Glass bottle (not cheap plastic)- Light even spray (similar to aerosol)- Option to spray or pour oil- Large capacity (16 oz is a lot of oil, way more than other sprayers)CONS:- plastic handle feels a bit flimsy (will update if it breaks)I was pleasantly surprised by the quality glass bottle. I have had 4+ sprayers over the years and all of them were cheap plastic bottles so I expected plastic. This has a nice glass bottle. The top is hard plastic (as the handle extends down the side that part feels less solid, but it has held up so far and I will update if it breaks). This sprays a nice thin coat of oil when you depress the button above the handle (its similar to a maple syrup container at a diner with the button above the handle, of course it sprays rather than just opening the top but you hold and operate it like a maple syrup container). I like that this sprays a thin coat similar to an aerosol can when you depress the button quickly (some others I have tried spray a stream of oil). This provides a nice spray without the extra step of pumping air before use (like my Misto and Pampered Chef bottles require). I have also tried other sprayers that spray as you depress the handle (pressing down on the entire handle on the side to spray oil). I prefer the button on the top of this sprayer (above the handle) to the design where you press down the entire handle because I find this design easier to hold and easier to direct the spray.I really like that this does not get oil everywhere. I have found that bottles that require you to pump down air on the top or depress the entire handle seem to get oil on the bottle. I'm not sure if its a minor leak or maybe some of the spray getting on the bottle when I use it but I find myself constantly degreasing the outside of the bottle and cleaning oil off my hands when I cook with other sprayers. Particularly with my Misto sprayer, when I pump air and remove the pump top, I get oil on the bottle which then gets on my hand (my pan handle, cooking utensils, stove knobs, etc.). I hoped that switching to a bottle that sprays when you depress the handle would solve this problem but that bottle gets greasy on the outside too. I am really happy that getting oil on the outside of the bottle has not been an issue for me with this button top design (even when I use it to pour oil). I think its because the spray mechanism is more enclosed within the top of the bottle compared to other designs. There is also a switch on the top near the spray button. When you flip the switch, the top pops-up revealing a spout to pour oil (as shown in the photos). I like that I can switch between spraying and pouring oil really easily. This bottle holds at least twice as much oil as my other sprayers. I cook multiple meals everyday (I like cooking and we are trying to eat healthier by avoiding too much take out). I like that I don't need to refill this bottle frequently. After years of trial and error I may have finally found the perfect olive oil sprayer!

It opens better than the one I previously picked up but still could use some work. The concept is very good though. The sprayer doesn't dispense as well as the pour spout.

The quality of the oil pot is really good and fine workmanship, dual-use is very convenient! Also it's made of glass, it doesn't smell!

Have tried other oil dispenser bottles and I was always disappointed. This one works and doesn't get gummed up.

My mistake, after I already washed the bottle and filled it with oil, I realized that the sprayer didn’t work. Too late now… I just use the spout to pour instead. Such a shame. test before using!

I loved it at first until I couldn’t open it to refill the oil. It’s impossible to open. Me and my husband could not open it! Lefty loosey did not work!
