This part is known to fail and cause emission light in Honda Pilots. Dealership wanted hundreds of dollars to fix. Ordered this part and put it in myself in 10 minutes worked great no complaints at all.

Order received in time, it was came as shown, did not find time to install. But the code was gone before I installed so its laying in my auto bin.

In my experience this is the thing that goes out on the spool valve (Variable Timing Solenoid), and is an easy option to replace and test before you replace the entire thing. Get a new gasket, clean it well with brake cleaner and make sure everything slides and put your OEM honda spool valve back on with this pressure sender replaced. If that doesn't work then you do need to replace the entire Variable Timing Solenoid. This looks identical to OEM but longevity is the true test. My original had 200k miles on it.

Got this for my 2014 Honda Odyssey that was giving me a CEL P3400 error code. Installation was easy thanks to the many instructional videos on YouTube. Note that there is a small gasket that should be purchased and replaced along with this part. It showed up in the “Frequently bought together” section of this part’s listing. Had to clear the CEL code manually after replacing the part. That was 3 weeks ago and things have been fine since. No complaints.
