I’ve read the reviews about vehemently bottom nipples breaking off. I bought 2 different brands and intentionally put excessive force on the bottom nipples of each. This unit did not flex or budge and was indistinguishable from the OEM unit. The cheaper oil tanks on Amazon nipples were able to bend substantially with the pressure of my thumb.I’ve put a couple of hours on it and so far it is working great. No more beeps and alarms.

I bought this item in June 2022, insteading of spending more money on an OEM part, however the plastic nipple on the bottom just broke smooth off. Leaking out my expensive 2 cycle oil and rendered by boat not usable. I would not recommend this product. I know it's been about 14 months since I purchased it, however I was expecting it to last much, much longer than one year.Update: I repaired the bottom nipple myself and took it out for the first time. The vent cap is now stripped out, all by itself, after being on the water for about 3 hours. Absolute junk! Do NOT BUY THIS ITEM. If you do, you were warned.

Ended up getting an OEM tank.Installed it and oil started to spill everywhere around sensor port.

The Botton plastic nipple where the oil hose connects already snapped off completely leaving me to having to get towed in. Cheap Plastic.

Was able to use my boat twice during the three months after installing. The Botton plastic nipple where the oil hose connects already snapped off completely leaving me to having to buy a whole new tank now... Cheap Plastic. Factory one lasted 20 years I guess I know I need to order OEM now for this use.
