Want to keep scratches at bay and your furniture looking like new? This helper does it!I use on my dark wood furniture, my kitchen cabinets and have even used on a pair of scuffed shoes ina pinch! It's not a paint...just a wood polish with a cherry wood-like color. You may need to put a second coatto cover stains or scratches, but it does lessen them so they become less noticeable!Try it!

This product works great for my 1928 wooden floors. There are areas that have a light colored scrape, I apply this on a rag and lightly wipe the area and it’s not even noticeable . Perfect for my needs. The color doesn’t have to match perfectly, you can adjust it by how long you leave it sit before wiping for darker it just a tiny amount for a light smear and wipe away. My floors are a more medium dark. It would not work on light wood, color is too dark

My my mother, her mother and her mothers mother have been using this product for many years and a have I. It goes on easy and make a fast beautiful job on wood for a new look. I love this product. It saves time applying it and wiping if off afterwards and your wood looks great for a long time after. I just bought 2 bottles of it to do a quick job making my wood window frames inside the home look like new and it won't take much effort to get it done quickly with this Old English product. It stains and covers scratches fast like a professional did the job.

I've been using old English Dark Wood Scratch Cover for 27 years. My only complaint most recently is that it must have undergone some kind of change in formula, because it used to scratch cover better than it does now. That being said, it smells great, rubs in easily, doesn't leave a greasy residue like some polishes, and makes wood look excellent. It does scratch cover. Just not quite as well as it did many years ago.

About 30 years ago we vacationed in Puerto Vallarta Mexico and I purchased a 4 foot wooden horse head carved our of a tree trunk. I fell in love with this hand carved beauty and ever since, have used Old English oil polish to keep the brown color healthy and fresh looking. It looks as good today as it did all those years ago. Back then they did not use any of the finishes over the raw dye that they used to color the wood. This dark oil penetrates the wood and also keeps the color fresh. I am so glad I found it to preserve this very special purchase that I made all those years ago. I highly recommend it for any wood furniture you have that needs preserving.

We just moved into a "new" home and the kitchen had what should have been beautiful custom made cabinets. The previous owners did not clean or take care of them, so they were dirty, dull, and scratched up. We were planning on sanding then re-staining them eventually. I ordered Old English Polish and Scratch remover, hoping that it would make them look better until we could start the project. I did have to clean the cabinets first (Murphy's Oil Soap). I rubbed the polish onto the cabinets firmly and was shocked at how the scratches literally disappeared! It took me 3 hours to polish the cabinets, but it was definitely worth it! This product saved us tons of money and time.
