This mini pot works well and can fry, boil steam etc. It gets a lot of use in my house. It is non stick and easy to clean, My only gripe is I wish it had an auto off and or a timer.

Our family loves to fondue, so the conversion to an Asian "Hot Pot" was not too difficult. We have used this device a few times now: these are our initial thoughts:~Two heat settings provide great variability in temp control. This thing is NOT a slow cooker, but it does a great job at low of keeping a consistent steam, and high gives a good boil for a broth.~Works great as a steamer for vegetables / crab legs. One of our uses was to steam crab legs which was a weakness in our kitchen. Our stove pan steamer is not wide enough for many crab legs, and we would run two for consistency in cook. This is far superior to our previous setup.~Superior for protein cooking for fondue. This is a much better setup than our fondue parts for protein cooking. Not a double boiler, but for boiling a broth or oil based fondue. Will always part of this for our family moving forward.~Of course, it works GREAT as an Asian Hot Pot. We have now done 2 hot pots, and it is awesome. We are able to keep potatoes, corn, noodles, other veggies, and proteins in the pot and keep a consistent boil without issue. AWESOME!~Cleanup is easy. Even though we let the broth go a little low on one of the hot pot cooks and a few veggies started to stick, they cleaned right up with a wipe of a cloth afterwards. This was a similar but yet new way of cooking for us at the table, and we love it. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND as a great option for expanding your home dining in a way that is different, but yet simple and fun.

It doesn't get any easier than this. It steams, it boils, it fries. It is not a complicated design. Two heat settings. I plugged it into my 110-volt outlet and it worked perfect. I noticed it said dual voltages and it has it listed at 220 volts so now I know what they mean; it works in a 110 volt as well. The non-stick coating really did its job well; it cleans really easy. I recently bought a dedicated popcorn popper. If I already had this, I could have skipped that purchase. This is ideal for popping corn as well. I looked it up and using oil is the best way of getting good results for popcorn. I threw my electric hot air popper out it was wasting so much corn all over the place. This one has a good amount of space for a popper as well.Since I already have a dorm sized refrigerator in my bedroom, having this all-in-one cooker is perfect. Sometimes you don't feel like getting into the mingle in a busy kitchen, and besides you can surf the web in your bedroom, and keep an eye on what you are cooking as well. The pure stainless steel upper portion with vent holes through to the bottom means you can be cooking two different foods at the same time. Even the lid handle at the top is designed to not absorb heat so you don't need an oven mitt to use it. I wish there was something I didn't like about this so my review would seem real but there isn't. I seriously am in love with this thing. Highly recommended.

This pot is very simple to use and to clean. It is a bit more shallow than I had first imagined it would be but it proved to be very roomy. As soon as the pot arrived I quickly washed and dried the pot and started to prepare our dinner. Chicken and rice with broccoli. The pot has two settings- low and high. I first put in three large chicken breasts and started them cooking on low but soon found that there were just too thick to cook quickly enough so I removed one at a time, cut it up and returned it to the pot. The chicken cooked much quicker and more evenly. I then removed the chicken, set it aside in a covered dish and added the butter and water to the pot to boil. I raised the temperature of the pot to high. It came to boil quickly. I then added the rice in to cook. I lowered the temperature to low again. I used two boxes of chicken flavored instant rice. In total the boxes would produce 7 servings/7cups of rice. I also put a head of shopped up broccoli into the steamer basket over the rice. The rice took about 20 minutes or so to cook and the broccoli was steamed and not soggy. Then I added the chicken back into the pot, as well as the broccoli. It was delicious and my family of 4 had leftovers for 3 days.It was quick and so easy, as was the clean up. The coating makes cooking and clean up a breeze.I am so glad I ordered and I can’t wait to see what else I can make in this pot.I will say, I accidentally scratched the bottom of the pot with the knife I used to cut up the chicken. It scratched pretty easily. I would only use silicone, plastic or wood utensils in the pot.

The product is a beautiful color, but about the 2nd use of cooking garlic chicken and noodles, upon cleanup, there was a small pinhole of the coating that came out from the very bottom. Then the next cooking with oil and 6 eggs, another pinhole of coating came out from the very bottom was discovered after cleaning it with paper towels no steel scrapers. The cooking was mostly at the 400 degrees cooking. So disappointing. Now, I am looking for another Hot Pot Cooker.

I gave this pot 4 stars only because I wish it had more temperature control. It only has two setting on it. It will come in very handy to steam your favorite dishes. It will work great at heating up all your soup and stew recipes as well.
