I've been through so many bike lights I've lost count. So many issues. They'll stop charging, stop mounting properly, not as bright as advertised, and more. This light is the exact opposite. Very bright on just the low setting! Anti-glare so I'm not blinding other trail goers in the early morning dark. Incredibly easy attachment (just place on, twist, and go). Easy on and off button. And the battery last quite a while. Highly recommended!

This is an excellent light for the price. I was nervous about buying a lower price point headlight for my bike, but at the same time, I didn’t want to spend hundreds of dollars for a light. This light is a great quality light for the price and it has not disappointed in performance for me.The rubber strap for mounting works great and the light stays secure on my handle bar. A quarter turn and the light comes off the mount for quick and easy charging. I ride primarily in the early morning hours and it’s dark for my entire ride. The lowest brightness setting provides plenty of light for me. I usually recharge the light about every 4 rides and my rides are just short of 2 hours each day. It could go longer between charges but I just don’t feel like pressing my luck lol.I recommend and would buy this light again without a second thought.

Charged the bad boy and got it mounted on my commute bike. First off, super easy install with 1/4 turn mount thats Garmin compatible. Which made me wonder if this is OEM factory as the unit is friggin solid! Beutifully extruded or machined and tactile sensation leant an air of quality. Second, the light is much brighter than I expected. To the point where I'm blown away with the projection. On a full bright day, the light is strong enough to clearly illuminate the reflective paint on street signs. Jaw dropping really.Operationally, this this does, solid in 3 phases, flashing in 3 phases, and a hold down lock out so you cannot accidentally drain it by turning on in your bag. Well you could if you don't use the lockout, but damn, was I impressed. The projection is perfect for stuff in front. I'm a commuter, have been hit by a car, so super vigilant about have the right gear. I haven't drained the battery yet but fo Once r the 2.5 hours I had it on flashing mode, it didn't crap out. The is my second product from this manufacturer and its not gonna be the last. Now I'm searching for extra mounts for my other bikes. And maybe get this BT compatible for speed sensing? One can always ask for more!

So I a 3 paragraph detailed review but amazon said it didn't mean community standards somehow. So instead of being thorough and detailed and providing critical detailed information to anyone making a choice, I'll just do whatever everyone else does and say it works great. Shines light.EDIT:So after riding with this light for a bit, I wanted to share additional thoughts. First take a look at my pic. On the left is the OLight RN1500 attached to my helmet via a GoPro mount, on the right is a _very cheap_ bike light (that I don't recommend).First, the RN1500 is BRIGHT. I normally run it on the second setting just because the brightest most is ridiculous. Super cool though! I love the beam pattern! Here's something important though, look at the color rendering between the left and right halves. Even though the OLight is kicking out a TON more light, the cheap bike light on the right actually shows a difference between rocks, plants, trees, and shadows. I researched the OLight rn1500 and it appears (I think, don't quote me) to use an SST-40 emitter, vs my cheap bike light which the emitters are unknown (possibly a knockoff XM-L). The color rendering index of the OLight makes it quick difficult to quickly see the difference between rocks and leaves as they all kinda look the same. So, I don't think I'd recommend a solo OLight RN1500 for trail usage... but for city streets, this is hands down the light you could buy for the price. The quality is still EXCEPTIONAL! I do feel like you could use the RN1500 on your bar with a high CRI like on your helmet for trail usage.I wish they'd come out with an SST-20 version! That would be a game changer. I'm downgrading one star for the CRI not being great, but still the build quality and reliability of this light is unprecedented. Still recommend!
