I was a textiles major in college years ago and would spin my own yarn and weave on looms. I was pleasantly surprised by the construction and care given to this loom. It is a perfect tabletop size, and works beautifully. I have recently begun recycling plastic shopping bags by cutting them down and spinning them into “plarn”. This little loom is terrific for my projects! Love it! It was very easy to assemble. It comes with a handy cloth bag to store the pieces when not in use. The price can’t be beat.

Once I got it properly assembled, I was over the moon with the loom. The instructions were not the best, hence the four-star rating.

Now I have to spend time looking for information on putting together and hope I have correct parts. Some of the reviews stated they didn't line up or missing parts. I guess I made the mistake I didn't read the reviews.

My daughter likes this a lot. However, the instructions that came with it are pretty useless in terms of using it. They just tell you how to put it together. Towards the bottom of the instructions they give you a link for a tutorial video. When you go to their site, you have to sign up for an account to be able to see it. The video is the same assembly video you can find on YouTube, without having to sign up, so it wasn't helpful. We found a few good videos on YouTube from folks with similar looms, which ended up being very helpful, but the company should provide these type of instructions.

Easy to assemble. I did have to watch a couple videos to understand how to start and finish the types of weaving I wanted, but the loom itself is great, a good size, and NOT made in China.

I love all kinds of crafts, but have never tried weaving more than a potholder as a child. I have always thought a weaving loom looked like fun, so when I saw this one that is a "real" loom without being too big, I thought I would try it. It is well made, although I did use some sandpaper to smooth out a few rough patches, but that was not a big deal. It does require assembly and to my disappointment, directs you to videos for assembly instructions rather than written instructions, which I prefer. I enjoy assembling things, so putting it together wasn't difficult, but I would definitely prefer to read the instructions rather than watch them. I have tried the loom for just some simple placemats and I am very happy with it and am looking forward to making some more complicated items.
