I have always used Olsen blades on my scroll saw. My wife got me some Dutchman for a gift one time and I used one and switched a quarter of the way into my project back to my Olsen blades

These didn't work out for me as they are not pin-end, and unfortuantely my saw doesn't have set screws. Maybe I can use these somewhere else.

Unfortunately I didn’t check the fitting on my saw, mine need the pinned blades. But they do fit my hand scroll saw, so not wasted. They are definitely easy to use on a hand saw. Cleaner cut, not so many rough cuts. putting masking tape on cut which make smoother cuts. Happy.

These scroll saw blades are awesome. I needed something really small to cut out rings for a wooden bowl and this did the trick. They hold their edge well.

I found that the Olson blades are a big struggle getting them on because of the lack of length. They also slip out of the holder because there is not enough length. Just a bit longer and they would be golden. Now they are junk, go through more blades now. guess it's about sales now not the quality.

I'm new to scroll sawing and more experienced users recommended Olson. The 44802 is great for straight cuts and for not-so-tight radii and there is no rough edge on the back face of the ply. A great blade.
