The metal it's made out of is super soft. Using the correct seal driver it still deformed. now it's trash.

Bought it for the gasket ring which I prefer over using RTV, delivered product didn’t have the gasket ring (which stinks but whatever). I destroyed the old one getting it out (you have to) and then went to put this in and it didn’t fit as promised… waste of money, and waste of my time.

Okay this seal is not what you want for your Jeep Wrangler Dana 30/44. I have a 2007 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited with the Dana 30 upfront and this seal just doesn't fit. I went through 2 of these before giving up and paying $40 for a Mopar seal at the Dealership. So what is the issue? I lubed this bad boy up softly tapped it to get it in and it would eventually just crumble around the edges. I tried different hammers, softer blows, etc. I just could not get this seal to go in the hole no matter what I did. So like mentioned i headed to my Jeep dealership and picked up a Mopar branded seal, def. look the same, but boy o boy they aren't. After a few soft blows with the ol hammer this thing was sealed in tighter than well...you know. So BUY the Mopar seal and be done with it. Quick ship and nothing against the seller these things just don't work.
