I purchased this cable on Amazon after searching Morris 4x4 and Quadratec for the correct part number. According to those two website and the Amazon fit checker, this should have been the correct part for my 1983 CJ7. It installed fine and actually worked, but when I called Omix, they said this was not the correct part number and that this was intended for a 1978-80 CJ Jeep. It installed without issue and the drum is working fine. The spring at the end of the cable that is inside the drum is 5" long which is the correct length for a 10" brake. Long story story shot, good cable, easy install, works as expected.
