Overall a pretty decent product; however one line was poorly assembled with the wrong size end. One of the small lines that goes between the master cylinder and the distribution block had the wrong end on it. I had to go have another unit custom made at an additional cost of about $20 and since I was installing on a Saturday evening it took an extra couple of days to get the TJ back on the road. Not a huge deal but enough of an issue to bring the purchase down a couple of stars.

Perfect fit for my 97 jeep wrangler sport. Took less than 3 hours for me to install. I'm not a mechanic, but more like a regular diy guy.

Way easier to install than I expected. Pre bends were great. Required very little adjustment on the bends. No bending tools required. Highly recommend

Ordered these for my 1999 Jeep TJ because I was tired of patching the original rusted lines and decided to just replace them all. These came a day sooner than expected which was great, it took about 2 hours to install the complete set and bleed the system, the hardest one to install was the passenger side front line as expected. All of these fit correctly with minor tweaking, also as expected. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend these to anyone needing to replace the brake lines on their TJ.

I think it is hilarious that some have complained about the lines being too short / not fitting. Dudes, it's metal tubing and was sent in the mail! You will have to tweak many of the bends to get them just right! I had this sent to my work and was riding my motorcycle on the day (Friday) that it came in. I removed the kit from the box and bungeed them to my bike. Upon installation I noticed some of the flair nuts were of different sizes than stock, (not the threads, just the nut size). Of course who is to say that all the lines on my old rusty 1999 Jeep Wrangler are stock anyway! I have not yet installed the complete kit, but after over four hard line splices this is a NICE kit to give piece of mind. I gave it three stars on ease of install because of what it is....break lines suck and are never easy. But that is the nature of the beast and is no fault of the manufacture. Don't be in a hurry to do a break job! Do one line at a time. I will install more if the kit when the snow and mud is gone from my "no celling/no walls/no heat" garage. Since I stated this huge job, I ordered all new soft lines and both rear wheel cylinders and full brake kits too. I may update later after I have used all the tubing from the kit. So far, so good. I recommend you get this kit if you have an old jeep..... and while you are at it.... check that frame for rust!!

This product came wrapped up and you have to unravel it, but it went it as good as can be expected for a 15 yr old to install, with my guidance. The hardest one to install is the pass. front, but all in all a great product. previous owner had calipers locking up issue and took to a shop that replaced calipers, pads, hoses and rotors. when i purchased it it had 15k on brakes and on test drive brakes locked up. bleed system and unfroze caliper but it locked up again. Replace these hard lines. Also replaced hoses and calipers that were contaminated and had been heated badly and all is good. brakes are very touchy and stop on a dime. Would definitely recommend this product to others with this issue.

Front lines fit fine. The rear line was about a foot too long and had to cut a flair the rear line. Some fittings weren't the right size either.

I just installed this kit on my 2000 TJ Sahara and everything lined up and fit just about perfectly. This was not too hard to install and it was my first time ever installing brake lines in any vehicle. A novice mechanic could do this install and i'm feeling pretty good about myself afterwards. There are no instructions included nor is anything labeled with appropriate locations, so just know where everything needs to go and match things up with the lines you uninstall and you should be good to go.A local Firestone I took my Jeep to first quoted me at 12 shop hours to perform this job which would have cost over $1000 not counting the parts, and I bought this for $100 and it only took me (a first time brake line installer) about 4 hours casually to do this job. Just an FYI.Also purchased some "speed bleeders", which I highly recommend too for those doing this without any help. I would also say to grab at least a 32oz bottle of DOT 3 brake fluid.

The brake lines were very closely bent to my factory originals. I reccommend paying close attention as to the routing of the front section upon removal. Have a friend over to assist on the large front section installation. The rears are pretty simple. When you finish the fronts or during installation treat yourself to a stiff drink or purchase a stress ball to accompany the installation process.

The lines worked great. I had broke a rear line and yes, while it's difficult to fish the new lines in they worked wonderfully. Glad it's a full kit, when I test drove the Jeep for the rear line, I discovered my front line leaking as well. The front it much easier to install with the help of a second person. One in the front pushing the in, the other person to pull and help guide where it should go. I found it easier to install the driver side first for the front line. The overall quality is also great, the tubes could bend really far and not collapse or fold.
