I was completely satisfied and surprised that it was exactly what I had as far as looks and materials. Replaced the old one and now I don't have to hold the turn signal to keep it on.

El repuesto se descompusó dentro del tiempo de garantía y el fabricante no quizó mandar un repuesto a México o quizo cobrar para lo mismo, evitar este fabricante.

Had an issue with my dashboard lights flashing on and off when I used the turn signal to turn right. Replaced it with this switch in less than 20 minutes and appears to have solved my issues. When switching to brights, there is a loud click and more resistance than the oem version, yet I am happy to say it works like described.

The spring in my OEM switch was getting weak and would indicate the opposite direction after completing a turn. Also, the dome light would no longer turn on.This replacement unit installed in minutes (probably the easiest repair I've ever done to my Jeep) and works flawlessly. Both issues were resolved.

Replacing this switch fixed my headlight and dome light problems. The new switch has a gritty feel to the turn signal movement and a rough/hard engagement at the turn signal stop. After several weeks of use the movement of the turn signal switch has improved but will probably never feel like oem. The oem switch did have a lubricant on the ball portion of the turn signal arm which I will add once I feel the switch is fully broken in. 4 star rating because of rough initial feel and lack of foam/rubber seal around base of turn signal arm. Probably there to keep out dust and dirt.

Easy installation. Fixed my intermittent fog lights, random instrument panel lights dimming and left turn signal springing back issues.

This switch came as described and perfectly fit in as the replacement. The installation was super easy and the replacement switch fixed the intermittent issue I had with the old switch. My only negative is that the switch to turn the lights on and off is at the end of the stalk and is too easy to turn. I sometimes turn the lights off when turning on the turn signal because it needs to have a bit more resistance on the light on/off switch.

Installed 3 weeks ago on my 2008 JK. It is exactly like the one that I replaced. Fit perfectly. Works perfectly. Shipped super fast.

Easy install, and this thing feels better than the factory one it replaced (2008 wrangler). Super happy, wish I'd replaced it years ago.Problems resolved include: flickering dash brightness, cabin light not working, and worst of all the wrong signal light being triggered...

Hello everyone,Edit: updating 8 years later (7/18/2024) and still going strong. It was a good buy.I have only had it for about a week but everything is working. I replaced my original stalk when my fog lights kept going on and off as well as my dome light. It was pretty comical actually. For reference, I have a 2008 JK rubicon.Anyway, installation was a breeze once I figured out where two of the three torx screws were.As many other helpful reviews have said, there are three "15" torx screws. One is dead center underneath the steering wheel. It is almost impossible to miss. The next two are in the two holes on the front of the bottom portion of the steering wheel. The reason I point this out is because I personally had a difficult time seeing the black torx screws in the holes, so I wasn't sure if I was just causing damage with my screwdriver. Well I am confirming that yes, the torx screws are in there. Just torx until they come out (reverse the process for reinstall).Everything else is just held in with the plastic inserts, give a little pull and the surrounding plastic should come out. The actual multi function stalk has one Phillips screw holding it in, and has two wired connections, connected on the back and back side area. This part is fairly intuitive and if you have gotten this far, you will clearly see what i am talking about and know what to do. I pulled off the original felt protector and reapplied it to the new one. I like the way it looks. To put everything back together, just reverse the steps. I hope this was helpful. As I said earlier, I personally had a hard time seeing the screws and I hope this helps to avoid my small inconvenience. This whole install should literally take 10 minutes or less.Again, please note I have a 2008 Jeep JK Wrangler Rubicon so it may be a little more complex or vary for newer models.

Fit & worked perfectly, 30% cheaper than dealer, shipping was fast too. I may never go to a dealer again for this type of part. Installation was a snap, 20 minutes including searching around for the right screwdrivers to take apart the plastic steering column housing. Works fine; it's got a stiffer and more positive feel than the old unit, but that one was 7 years old and getting really loose. The signal resets more abruptly when you turn the steering wheel, but it's hardly a complaint. Will definitely check out this vendor again. I'll update this post if there are any problems.

If you're here well you broke this thing too. . . I'll spare you my story, but yes, I'm so thankful for this part . . . 70 bucks and some elbow grease and I'm back in business. Easy install yes . . . other reviewers mentioned torx screws, I also have a 2008 Wrangler but I would add that 2 of the 3 screws are recessed . . . if your torx drivers have 3" blades (like my older Xcelite drivers)) they won't cut it. I had to run to hardware store for a T15 torx driver with a longer, 4" blade (4" is probably pretty standard). Any extensions I tried for other drivers were too thick for the recessed screws . . . so the ticket is having the right T15 drivers. Now getting the driver seated into the head of those two recessed screws was somewhat tricky but with a little patience you get it and the rest is cake. As you remove the recessed screws the housing starts to separate pretty good, then remove one small phillips head screw and two plugs, the switch will slide right out. Put the new switch in the same way.Oh, I had a difficult time finding any information on this problem, this part, or info on how to install it. Amazon had 5 ratings when I got here that let me know this is what I need and that it was a job I could handle! Amazon really is a tremendous resource in this way!
