This switch leaked between the plastic core and the steel case, or maybe between one of the terminals and the plastic core. It dripped a few drops on the floor each night. I checked very carefully to be sure that it wasn't leaking from the threads which I had sealed with LOCKTITE thread sealing compound. The leak was somewhere in the plastic area, so I had to buy another one locally and replace it.
