Used on a 2008 Jeep Wrangler. The threads are machined accurately and the molded rubber washer seals well.

Other than having less thread than the OEM drain plug, it's a match. Guess though the OEM plug has too much thread for an oil pan drain. So this is a perfect replacement. I had to buy this because the dealership torqued it too much when they changed my oil last time and I stripped the bolt trying to get it off. Note to self, from now on do my own oil changes.

It is Shorter and more expensive than OEM !! But it fits anyway. I order it as an emergency because I damaged the old drain plug.

I replaced the aftermarket plug on my Wrangler with this one. Seems to be better quality and has the gasket built in which I love. I recommend it and I would get this one again.

This oil pan drain plug fit perfectly in my Jeep Compass 2008. The original plug was leaking and I assume the problem was the seal at the base of the plug. The thread was ok. The plug looks quality and the material appears to be anticorrosive.

I have changed my own oil in my Jeep since it was new. Had a recall so I decided to let the dealership change my oil while it was in. Next time i went to change oil i found that they stripped my drain plug. I was able to hammer on a 1/2 socket since the 13mm would slip and got the stripped plug out. This replacement was a perfect fit and seems as good or better than OEM. Will update if anything changes
