First off, I think the listing may have changed between when I ordered this and when I am writing this review. I ordered a small being under the impression (at the time I ordered, mind you) that it would be a kitten size. It is not. Both kittens are in the 4.5 pound range and this is still somewhat too big for either of them. (They are both bengals—one female, one male. She is four months; he is three months. Even at this age their is a distinct difference in body type; the harness is too big on either of them.) That is more for sizing information. The reason for the three star rating is the poor quality of the hook and loop fastener material. It has a very weak grip. It comes undone pretty easily. (Also, the materials feel nice in your hand, but the fabric part is a fairly stiff fabric. I suspect this stiffness may compromise the ability to prevent escape even when it is sized properly…) Since I have tried this on both of them and had it in the cat toy bin waiting for them to grow into it, I don’t feel like I should return it. So, I’m using it for “wearing a harness—Yes, you CAN still walk and No, this is NOT a torture device” purposes while I look for a better alternative.
