I have had this player for about a year and one month. It constantly skips, even CDs that are not scratched. I have played the same CDs in other CD players to make sure it is not the disc itself, and they play fine elsewhere. I don't know if this issue is because I got a refurbished piece, and the issue was not fixed. In any case, I bought a Sony CD player at Goodwill that works just fine.

First one was faulty on arrival. Its replacement went faulty after warranty expire. My advise; order new!

Came packaged in heavy factory type box cradeled in foam skeleton. Outer box was marked " Onkio certified reconditioned" Accesories were compleate with batteries for the remote. It has a nice quality remote not your little throwaway remote. Easy install and wecome addition to existing gear. It powered on and sounds great so far. It read and decoded 2 older cds flawlessly, that my tired old nakamichi had problems with. Overall its a good value with a 90 day return policy. 3 thumbs up so far

Recibí el reproductor de CD con adelanto de un día respecto de la fecha programada. El programa de productos reacondicionados me parece buena alternativa y da la oportunidad de probar la satisfacción de la compra y contar con garantía como si estos fueran nuevos. En particular el equipo Onkyo C-7030 Reproductor de disco compacto (Negro) que recibí se ve como nuevo en el frente, la tapa y los costados, aunque trae un par de rayones en la parte trasera cerca de la salida del cable de alimentación, nada grave. Tuve problemas al principio con el control remoto, pero al revisar con cuidado me percaté que era por una de las baterías incluídas en la entrega que estaba hinchada, inservible. Cambié las baterías por nuevas y todo se arregló. Los manuales de usuario que recibí estan algo maltratados por el uso, también nada grave para mí. Estoy contento con la compra. Doy gracias a Onkyo por la calidad de sus productos y a Amazon por su programa de venta de equipos reacondicionados con garantía.

Simple to use, quick response to buttons- press open- opens immediately. Plays all CD's and home made mp3's.Sounds good, looks good. Finally, a CD player that works. However, after 2 months it began to skip a lot. I can take the CD out and drop it right into another player and it works fine, This aggravating beyond belief. Does anyone have a CD player that works? :(Do not buy a renewed CD player from Amazon.
