I had high expectations for the ONO Slider, given its premium price tag, but unfortunately, it turned out to be a disappointing experience. While it does have some positive aspects—it’s smooth, fairly noiseless, and has a nice weight—the actual user experience is lackluster. The biggest letdown is the lack of haptic feedback. The magnets feel weak, making the sliding motion far from satisfying. It just doesn’t deliver the tactile engagement you’d expect from a high-end fidget tool. On top of that, the unit is larger than expected, which makes it feel awkward rather than ergonomic. For the price, I expected a premium, engaging fidget experience, but this misses the mark entirely. There are far better options out there for a fraction of the cost. I wouldn’t recommend it.

I really expected to be over the moon about this ONO Slider fidget. My favorite fidget for quite a while has been a non-linear slider with a LEGO pattern on each side and somehow I thought that this ONO Slider would be more similar (but also an upgrade) to that one.Let me summarize my thoughts.Pros:- Premium build and feel. This ONO Slider is made from aluminum that has a very smooth and precise build. It is sturdy and very solid. Everything about it looks and feels high quality.- Quality packaging makes it gift worthy. It comes in a nice quality, retail type box and a neoprene-like drawstring pouch bearing the ONO logo.- Customizable. A custom tool is included that allows the user to remove the center (only) magnet in the top part of the fidget. Maybe ONO makes different strengths of magnets that could replace this? In a similar way, it looks like the plastic inner cap of the bottom portion can be removed which would allow the multiple magnets in that half to be changed around as well.- Quiet. I like that this can be slid around while in a meeting or a waiting room without making much distracting noise.Cons:- The magnets are super weak. I assume that this was a big part of the design, but it doesn't do it for me. It makes it so that I can slide it back and forth or in a circle but the magnets are strong enough to really snap it into different positions. All they seem to be good for is to keep the two parts from falling in half. It appears to be customizable, but I can't find replacement magnets from ONO. Maybe if they made much stronger magnets available then it would be truly customizable for someone who wants to use it differently.- TOO smooth. The finish on the aluminum is velvety and smooth, but it is so smooth that if my hands get even a little dry, my thumb really just wants to glide across the surface rather than move the fidget's pieces against one another. I've noticed this getting a little better as it breaks in, but I think that the finish should have just a touch more texture to it.- Crazy expensive for a couple of pieces of aluminum, plastic, and magnets. Some of this cost is the nice packaging (including the pouch). For the price, I think it should be made of stainless steel. There is a titanium version as well and it's also very expensive even considering the material. With mine being made of aluminum and knowing just how weak the magnets are I just know that I will drop half of it on the concrete at some point and the fidget will wind up with a lot of damage because aluminum just isn't that tough. In summary, I think this is a cool fidget that looks and feels very premium with a very premium price to match. It reminds me of something that they would sell in a boutique at an airport where people can buy all of the things they don't really need for much more than they are actually worth because they are unique and look very cool. For half of the current price that ONO charges, I would recommend giving the Slider a try, but as it is I just need to advise passing on this.

I really like the feel and size of this product. The noise is significantly less compared to other edc toys. It has a soft feel when sliding.

I’ve been using my slider almost non stop since I opened it. These are the most high quality and effective stim tools. If you enjoy poker chips or coins for stimming this gives a similar feeling but the weight really adds something. Flipping the top section is nice but even just the simple act of sliding is satisfying. Also it makes a satisfying click when you want it to but for the most part it’s fairly silent. It is on the larger size, I have medium/small hands and use the junior roller. the slider might be cumbersome for smaller hands. I would love a junior size in this also. I haven’t noticed any irritation or pain from the holes in the middle as some reviews mentioned but my thumb does get a bit fatigued.Out of the roller, scroller, and slider I find myself reaching for the scroller more due to the variations of movement. You can slide or flip and change up how you use it where roller and scroller are more static. Having said that the roller and scroller are my go to for travel and throwing in my purse. The slider is prone to dropping when using it where I never drop the others. I wouldn’t want to drop it on concrete for example, it’s heavy duty and solid metal construction but I don’t want to dent or chip it.I have tried countless fidgets and the entire Ono collection are the best fidgets I’ve ever used. I initially got the Scroller a few months ago, then the Roller, just got my Slider. As soon as I opened it I started looking into what Ono is going to release next.I was feeling so disappointed in the other stims I tried, everything felt plastic and childish or didn’t have an effective stim motion. Ono hits 5 stars on all counts, stim motion, aesthetic look, the cold metal, the weight, it all adds up to perfect stim toys. I highly recommend the entire range. More than worth the cost.

Am autistic, and this thing became an integral part of my life with terrifying speed-- definitely hugely recommended if you stim with your hands and need to give them something to do. 11/10, would stim again.

I have adult ADHD. I love having a fidget. This one is FANTASTIC and I have never been so happy with a fidget before. It’s quiet which is great but I can also get it to clack together for a nice sound. It’s addicting to use. I have I think average size hands and it’s a SMIDGE big but I make it work. It’s so calming and pleasant to use. Great weight to it. Definitely worth the money. Don’t waste your time with other fidgets. Get this one. It’s phenomenal

I was looking for something to hold in my hand while on sales calls with a satisfying feel, but quiet enough for the office. This fit exactly. Has a nice heavy feel, very addicting click when it returns to the center. It’s not the most complex thing on the market, but it does the job.
