easy to setup and use and seems like the sturdiest solution (other that screwing the stand to the floor :) to keep cello ready for play when i need it.

With endpin out, for my size, out about 8 inches…oh let me measure….no, it’s out 10.5 inches…anyway, to raise the lower support arms enough so that I can place the double bass (3/4 size) in the stand with the end pin extended (10.5 inches) then i have to raise the upper extension all the way to the very, very end to be able to just barely fit the bass body below that upper holder. It feels like the upper arm is not very securely screwed in or the upper arm is not too secure. It feels that way. There’s no more room to extend the upper arm. The bass barely barely fits. But i guess it will work. Just barely. Hopefully.

Cradles for cello body can be adjusted high enough that endpin can remain in playing position when cello is in stand.

A very good value for the money. My son uses it for a stand-up bass. It was very easy to set up, and works perfectly.

I bought this stand as a gift for my wife who has recently begun to play a stand-up acoustic bass ("3/4" size). The stand is fairly lightweight but seems very sturdy and solid and it's proportioned to hold the bass very well. It will be easy to fold and pack for her when she's going to lessons or opportunities to play.It seems to be an excellent product and it's a very good value.

It fit perfectly for my bass but is a little wobbly even with the screw tight, but other than that it worked perfectly.

It’s a solid stand, the only thing to be weary of is that it doesn’t fit a bass super super well, it looks and feels like it was designed for a cello but can hold a bass too.

I wanted a stand that would both support and protect my instrument from scratches and from being knocked over. I also wanted one that sat on the floor without wobble and had a hook for my bow. This one did all of that. It has nice large moveable supports for the instrument and a neck support with a strap to hold the instrument in place. It breaks down to two main parts which flatten to a depth of about 6-7" and in truth it is a bit cumbersome if you want to use it on a gig but it is worth the peace of mind not having to lay your instrument on the floor where everyone seems to need to walk. I use it primarily in studio between practice sessions to save time getting my instrument in and out of the case. I have used this brand for various other stands and for the money, quality of construction and value every stand has been great. Well worth the investment.
