Hi have had this now for many months, I have it holding an Acoustic, electric bass and two electric guitars. No problems, build quality is good, it has been very good value for money.

For the price, didn't expect the greatest stand...didn't get it... but I feel I got my money's worth. One thing I like is that it is not very wide, like other, more expensive stands....which works for me...having many guitars displayed that aren't going anywhere, and saving space. As far as the comments about the difficult assembly, I had no problems, and it's been my experience that even mildly technically-able people won't have a problem with an assembly like this. People who are technically-challenged will probably fail and should probably have someone 'capable' put it together. One complaint is that the little mounting brackets that are welded to the square tubes (used for joining two pieces with nuts and bolts)...maybe three out of four were not square to tube, which did not insure assembly at right angles. Not the biggest deal to reform and square up with a vise and pliers but not everyone has tools and/or the ability to make them right...nor should they have to. My main complaint? The dividers at the bottom. They sort of just 'drop in' and 'wiggle' and can fall out easily. I used a vise to reshape them a bit and used a file to make a "notch"...so they now have tension to keep them stable when installed, and a notch which will not allow them to come up and out (unless you want them to). I've attached pictures of the before and after, the 'stock' divider (foam removed) is on the bottom, a little straighter and after having filed the notch...now it has tension when installed and is tight and secure. If the engineering and quality control were better you probably wouldn't have to try and make the modifications like I did....but again, you get what you pay for. I bought two and will order another soon, guitars are coming off wall hangers!

6 Pack of Beer Not Required!Same day delivery and it was very easy to put'em up. Smelled bad chemical from the foam but I felt it's safe enough to rest my Guitar Collections. My Bass Guitars are fitted some what tight very close to each other but I just have be careful when I put'em in and out of it. I might be able to fit my Ovation TX-12 string with deep round back might fit very thiht at the either end but I'm not worried. One new thing I found today was Amazon now has GPS on Delivery Drivers. Now I know where they are!I would buy another one as soon as I find the space to put my drawer/thing out of the room and I'll have more room for my other collections.First Picture is before and rest of 3 are after. I got total 13 guitars and 2 more on the way so I'll need one more of this.Overall Very good priced and well made.

Adjustable for acoustics and electrics. Strong built and nice and compact. Easy to assemble and strong enough for holding all the guitars. Would recommend.

While doing some research before buying a guitar rack, there seem to be 2 broad categories of racks - 1. Cheap (or in some cases not so cheap) but very poor quality and construction. 2 Expense and well made. This rack is the exception. The quality of the materials is great. It has easy to follow, clear instructions and it took me about 20 minutes to assemble. No sharp edges, no stripped parts, nothing but a solid place to get my basses off the floor. Only wish there was a 7 space version. I can't speak to the foldability or portability since it will likely never leave my studio - though based on the construction and On Stage reputation it will likely be fine. If you need a well priced, quality rack to organize your instruments, this is the one to buy.

Nice sturdy stand for home use. I have four guitars on mine and they are very secure. Assembly is easy and the directions are ok. Be sure not to tighten the bolts down until you are sure you have the bottom vertical peices turned the right way. When I put mine together I got one of them on backwards which caused the spacer bars not insert correctly. It was a quick fix to turn the bar around so that everything lined up correctly. It assembles fast, especially if you are paying attention, (I was watching the tv while assembling mine). I much prefer this stand to the five individual stands that I pack everywhere I go. I will purchase another one of these for school (I teach music). Super nice product and reasonably priced. with a little care it would work great for giging musicians. It is sturdy enough for casual gigs.

This stand was precisely what I was looking for - an economical way to declutter my home music space - and my stage footprint when I play live. Right now, I have five instruments on it - one acoustic guitar (standard size), two electrics (both Les Paul-ish LTDs, though one is distinctly thicker than the other), one 4-string bass, and one 5-string Thunderbird. This combination packs the stand very tight, and the long-scale T-bird takes a bit of care to situate without the headstock bumping into the wall. All the guitars sit close enough that I wouldn't slide one in haphazardly for fear of dinging it against the others, but I never toss my guitars around like that anyway. The dividers at the bottom are a really nice touch and help keep things organized in place. On stage, I'll only be using it for the 3 guitars, and I think that should work very nicely. The folding feature is easy and useful.Assembly was simple but a bit deceptive. The instructions aren't great. I'm no stranger to assembly-required stuff, but I had to reassemble the bottom of the stand because I realized too late I had the cross bar for the bottom dividers on backwards. Wasn't a big deal to fix, but my first assembly had sat perfectly flat on the floor. After changing that bar around, I couldn't quite get it back to flush. Sitting on my carpet, it's not noticeable, but on hardwood and concrete there will be just a bit of lift from one foot.Overall, I'm quite pleased with this stand. I haven't had it long or road-tested it yet, though, so I can't attest to its durability.
