The system takes some getting used to, fairly easy to install. The cameras have good view, and are crisp pictures. The night view is pretty spectacular. I’ve had them for almost a year and one camera went out almost before the warranty finished and they are sending me a new camera! Their customer service responded the following day from when I notified them of the failure. Within 5 minutes of them responding to me, they said they would send me the camera. Great service, and stand by their warranty.

I had night owl cameras before and they were pretty good. I watched YouTube video on these and they were proclaimed to be 1 of the top 10 systems. Definitely not the case don't waste your money. Video quality is fuzzy, the actual live image lags really bad, the so called color night vision sucks big time. For the money buy a Night Owl system! The reviews I saw on the night owl seemed to be low, however from my past experience I loved the system.

Had the Onwote cameras now for several months. I purchased a zoom camera and four additional cameras." They are the very best ones out of my last three in the past, with difference brands. Very easy to set-up!I'm very impress with the functionality.......viewing-play back, recording capability, and audio quality, etc. The picture quality/clarity is very clear day and night viewing, very detail in just about complete darkness," I have very low lighting in my front and back yard areas. " Outstanding clear images and video quality day and night !!!A very good value for the cost with no monthly fees or subscription required.Also, customer service tech support are excellent, ........due to helping me set-up my new internet provider router connection for on line, [ LIVE VIEWING ] for my mobile app, etc. The tech supporter was very knowledgeable with the system and functionality and complete set-up, etc." NO PROBLEMS AT ALL WITH THE SYSTEM / CAMERAS !!!!!!! In general, fairly easy to use. That said, I have had numerous questions. You must email and wait for their response...generally almost 24 hours. No matter how complete you are in phrasing your question, they generally write back asking for more info which often was in the original request.One of the most problematic issues is when I sign into the NVR itself, there is a message at the top:"Please install the latest plug-in. Close your browser before installation." But there is no link to the plug-in, as much as I have searched their website for a plug-in I have yet to find and when I email for the plug-in link, there has been no response. As such, it makes it impossible to see the camera's view from the NVR itself....there are reasons why I need to see through the NVR directly and you most likely will need this access as well. so disappointing Onwote will not offer any help on this one issue of their making which should be a simple roadblock to overcome if they would only provide the link to the plug-in. I hope Onwote has the courtesy to respond to this review.

I needed to reset my password. I have done everything it says to do.No luck what so ever. Go to the ONWOTE website. Says there is online chat support.Only problem is there isn't a link to chat. Turns out the chat support button is only available whenthere are people there to chat with. I was lucky enough to get Amy. She walked me through what needed to be done. I am now a happy camper!

I was amazed at the quality of the cameras. I installed the cameras on a metal building with 12 foot high exterior walls. Instead of mounting on the corners I set them at 10 feet on the sides. You can buy inexpensive brackets to put them on any vertical surface on Amazon. The AI feature is great at detecting a human or vehicle and sends the alert right to your phone.
