Beyond the Basics #1: Oat Milk Oolong
1. Boil Water: Start by boiling your preferred water in a kettle.
2. Steep the Tea: Pour the boiling water over the oolong tea bag(s) and steep for 3-5 minutes, depending on your desired strength.
3. Add Oat Milk and Sweeten (Optional): Once steeped, remove the tea bag(s) and add oat milk to your liking. If desired, sweeten your tea with honey to your taste preference.
4. Enjoy!
Beyond the Basics #2: Lemon/Grape Fruit Oolong Tea
1. Boil water: Start with your preferred water and bring it to a boil.
2. Steep the tea: Pour the boiling water over the oolong tea bag and steep for 3-5 minutes.
3. Chill and add fruit: While the tea steeps, prepare a glass with ice cubes. After steeping, remove the tea bag and pour the tea over the ice. Add lemon/grapefruit slices.
4. Sweeten (optional): Taste the tea and add honey or simple sugar syrup to your desired sweetness level.
5. Enjoy! Experiment with different oolong tea and grapefruit varieties for your perfect combination.
Beyond the Basics #3: Bubble Tea
1. Cook tapioca pearls: Boil water, add tapioca pearls (cook per package instructions, usually 15-20 minutes), drain & rinse with cold water.
2. Make tea base: Steep oolong tea bags in boiling water for 3-5 minutes (adjust steeping time for desired tea strength).
3. Sweeten: While hot, add brown sugar & salt (optional) to tea base, stir until dissolved.
4. Assemble: Fill cup with ice, add cooked tapioca pearls, cooled tea base, and milk. Stir well and enjoy!
Beyond the Basics #4: Oolong Tea Cocktail
1. Steep the tea: Infuse a tea bag in 8 fl.oz of hot water at room temperature for 3-5 minutes.
2. Prepare the glass: Place the sugar in the glass. Sprinkle a few drops of angostura bitters on top and crush it with a pestle. (Alternatively, you can use liquid cane sugar instead of a sugar cube.)
3. Chill the drink: Add a few ice cubes to the glass.
4. Combine the ingredients: Pour in the bourbon and add 3.4 fl.oz of the infused tea. Adjust the amount of tea to suit your taste. Stir well with a spoon.
5. Garnish: Squeeze the orange zest over the glass to release its aromatic oils.

Iโm obsessed with this tea! The flavor is smooth, creamy, and just the right amount of floral, making it super easy to drink. It has that perfect balance between a light green tea and a richer oolong, refreshing and comforting at the same time.The quality is fantastic, with whole leaves in pyramid sachets (not the cheap tea dust you get in lower-end brands). I can easily steep each bag multiple times, and it still tastes amazing. Plus, I love that itโs completely natural, with no artificial flavours, just pure high-quality tea.If youโre looking for a tea thatโs soothing, delicious, and great for daily drinking, I canโt recommend this enough. Iโve already repurchased and will definitely be keeping this stocked in my kitchen!

Upon unpackaging this tea you are presented with a resealable bag which contains 12 sachets (bags) of tea. The bags are pyramid shaped. What really came as a surprise was that there were 3 individually packaged sample tea bags which were included as well. The sample teas were Mellow Amber, Honey Charcoal and Golden Lily. This was a very nice touch and a great way to sample some of the brands other teas. Very smart marketing.The bags are made from 100% Non-GMO plant based material which is compostable. The tea is gluten-free and contains no preservatives, chemicals, sugars or carbs. The package I received has a long expiry date of Dec 08 2027 and the 3 free samples have an expiry date of 29-May-2027.I have tried a couple of different Oolong teas in the past and although I found them pleasant they have never become a regular part of my tea drinking routine. This Oolong tea is definitely the best of any that I have tried. I am no tea connoisseur and can't comment on the aromas and tastes tickling your palette and affecting your senses. I know whether or not I like a tea and this brand was very satisfying to my tastes. I have only hot brewed this tea but there are instructions on the package for cold brewing as well. When it gets warmer I might try some cold brewing if I have any product left. I have not yet tried any of the samples so can't comment on them.Overall, I am very satisfied with this tea. It has a pleasant soothing taste and is very agreeable to my tastes. Definitely worthy of a try if you are looking for a new tea experience.Highly recommended.Priced at $18.99 at the time of this review with a coupon available for a 10% discount.

These are very high quality tea bags. Appreciate all the information on the back of the packaging that highlights the flavour profile, along with hot and cold brew instructions. Love that they use quality whole tea leaves, compostable tea bags, no preservatives, and no chemicals!!Tastes really good!! Do note that this one is pretty flowery in both smell and taste, so highly recommend if that's something that you enjoy in your teas.

Iโm a tea lover and these are great. Iโve ordered twice! I will order again! One thing to note is if youโre caffeine sensitive they are definitely caffeinated! But the flavor and quality was great!

The tea itself is a perfectly good oolong. A bit more on the green side than umami, very mild. Nice whole leaves.The instructions say to use fully boiling water. I haven't brewed full leaf oolong at boiling for ages, and am not about to start now. I started out at 185, and that worked pretty well. I found that 180 teased out a few more subtle flavours, though. I get three good brews out of a bag worth of leaves. I would not brew this at a full boil.It fully fills the bag when expanded, and I found it brewed much better pouring it out of the bag and into a pot.Not a bad oolong, not a super special one, and the instructions could use some improvement.

I am not a fan of green teas and I think the flavor of this Formosa Pearl Oolong tea leans a bit more towards green than I like. Other than that, this seems like a quality tea that is nicely presented and I wouldn't hesitate to try other teas from OOTINE.

I must start by telling that I am not really experienced with Oolong tea, but I must also tell you that I loved it. I find green tea to be too flat and black tea might be too strong at times. This is the perfect light mellow tea with great flavors and aroma.It comes in a resealable package and uses the trendy pyramid tea bags. The product page indicates that they are plant based. There are several different kinds (or flavors) and they all have basic but nice designs with pastel colors.You can use the regular steeping procedure, but they claim that they are suitable for multiple infusions. I tried, and it works, but naturally, the uses after the first get progressively lighter and less flavorful. The contents of the bags are also different from black tea leaves. Black tea leaves are usually short and flat cut leaves. These come in the form of balls, or pearls, as you can see from the images in the product page, and they are stated to be "whole leaves with stems". Also note that the balls of tea seem small and they seem to occupy only a small portion of the pyramid bag they are in. But when you steep them, the balls grow in size and expand to fill the whole pyramid bag fully and tightly.One question in my mind is how come they have different kinds when the ingredients are stated to be 100% loose Oolong tea for all kinds? I was expecting to see some mix with other items to produce different aromas or maybe some artificial aroma ingredients. This leads me to wonder if they left that part from the ingredients list. I can't tell much between the different flavors, but they all feel aromatic, floral, and sweet. A nice surprise was that the package came with 3 more single pack (containing a single tea bag) samplers with different kinds. But it was funny to see that one of those samplers was actually this kind, Mellow Amber, but still the samplers are appreciated.Overall, I love them and strongly recommend them. However, note that the price seems to be on the high side at $19 CAD (before a 10% coupon) at the time of writing for a pack of 9 tea bags. This makes a single bag cost about $2, and even if you use them multiple times, it is not a low price.

My friend recommend me these oolong tea bags and they are fantastic! The packaging is elegant and zip bag design is pretty cute. The tea itself is delightful, smooth, and balanced, with a perfect blend of floral and toasty notes. I also appreciate that they use whole tea leaf instead of broken tea leaves. Highly recommend!

These teas had a delicious, fresh aroma, and the afertaste was very smooth. The different flavors in the variety pack were quite distinct and each had nice notes. I bought them on the recommendation of a friend, and I definitely will be continuing to purchase from OOTINE for Oolong teas in the future.

My girlfriend was sick and she tried almost every flavor and was impressed by the quality of the teas. She thought the Morning Breeze was fragrant and neutral. On first glance, it looks like there's not much in the bags but with water they bloom to completely fill the bag and you can see that they are good quality full leaves. The Sunshine Ripples had a beautiful amber color and the roasted flavor shines through, reminiscent of hojicha. For the Mellow Amber the Osmanthus created a touch of sweetness and light taste. Our favorite was the Golden Lily which was full-bodied and maintained flavor through 7 brews. The different brews brought out different flavors making the drinking experience feel like walking from season to season.
