Exactly as described. From the pictures and the price, I was expecting a much more opaque egg. Pleasantly surprised to receive a very pretty (and difficult to photograph) quality opalite. The stand is nothing special, and the egg will probably look better displayed on anything else.

I adore it so much, I've had it for some time and I rarely execute it's use but it makes me so happy to see it! Since Opalite is already not a natural stone, I'm sure there's no reason for it to be 'fake.' It's just the right size for what its claimed to be, mine came in great condition and with the little stand for it. Was packaged nicely as well. Thank you!!

For my son's 9th birthday. He loves it! Small but it fits perfect in his hand. He sleeps with it at night. I don't know the quality versus other stones but he loves it so that's what matters.
