I am never uncomfortable leaving spliced wires out in the open (in attics/rafters). I would typically use stud mounted box which can be awkward when you are not mounting to studs.These boxes are easy to use & simple to mount. Don't need to route wires through the back of the box so it is easy to use these boxes to existing wire nut splices.

Cheap plastic imitation - not UL listed - does not meet code - there are other UL listed brands available on amazon - retuning this

These made it incredibly easy to secure my open splices in my attic. they worked out really well.

Do NOT buy! This is a knock off of the real product and is a DANGEROUS fire hazard! This can cause destruction to many families because it is cheaply made and not not ul listed.
