I’m torn on this one. For what it is it’s fine and that’s why I gave it four stars. The box is high quality, closes well, and stays shut. What I don’t like is the lack of versatility in holes for the wires. The wires have to come in high on the box which didn’t work for what I was doing and wouldn’t work well for most projects. I had to drill out new holes for what I was doing which defeats the purpose of the box.

Cheap piece of junk way overpriced Amazon’s getting to be like temu they’re just way more expensive. I didn’t even use them. I went to Lowe’s and bought some for two dollars.

I was just running low voltage furnace wires to this junction box to clean up the setup. I had two of the strain relief tabs break off when hooking it up (the other 2 worked fine). I only had one 18/8 thermostat wire going to each tab so I suspect it is just cheaply built.Otherwise it worked well for my application but I'm not sure I would trust it for anything higher voltage.

The usual multi-piece junction boxes that I have dealt with in the past are far more difficult to manage than this one-piece design, which makes it much simpler to handle. Not only did it have a clean and uncomplicated appearance, but it was also not bulky, which is a significant advantage when you had to put it into confined areas. It was a relief to see that the directions were easy to understand. The fundamental idea behind this product is that it is meant to save time, and I am relieved to report that I did not have to struggle through a series of difficult instructions in order to get it to function properly. I appreciated that the device was developed with both seasoned electricians and do-it-yourselfers like myself in consideration throughout the design process.Putting it to the test, I decided to fix some wiring in my garage, where I had an open splice that needed to be secured. I decided to put it to the test. There was a degree of truth to the product's promise that it could be installed in only five seconds. Following the preparation of the cables and the assembly of the box, it did indeed snap into place in a matter of moments and with little effort. I was able to save a significant amount of time, and I did not need any more equipment over and above those that I typically use for electrical work.In fact, I would say that the installation of this box was one of the least difficult ones I've ever done. I believe that it is the perfect product for those who are looking for a straightforward and trouble-free solution that does not need them to deal with a large number of components or a series of hard tasks. The simplicity of the installation was one of the most significant benefits for someone like myself, who periodically deals with minor electrical repairs.Over the course of the subsequent days, I put the connections through their paces and found that they were functioning normally. I have used various junction boxes in the past that gave me the impression of being flimsy or did not inspire much trust, but this one seemed to be well-designed and robust. After it has been installed, I believe that anybody who is searching for a solution that is not only fast but also dependable for open splices will enjoy how sturdy it feels.
