Operational Amplifier OP AMP Tester for Single Dual OPAMP TL071 TL072 TL081/082 for arduino Board
Instructions for use:
1, give the board access to the 12VDC power supply, at this time the board 3 red LED lit.
2, insert the op-amp to be tested, pay attention to the direction of the notch. The left socket for the test single op-amp, the upper two red, yellow LED instructions.
The right socket for the test of dual op-amps. The upper two red, yellow LEDs correspond to the two chips inside the dual op-amp.
3, after inserting the chip:
If the op-amp chip is normal, the yellow LED lights up and the red LED goes out;
If the output of the op-amp chip is open-circuit, the yellow LED will be off and the red LED will be on.
If there is a short circuit inside the op-amp chip, the red and yellow LEDs will flash alternately.

Seems to be ok. The thing is I do not have any known bad op-amps right now to know a good test from a bad test. Those typically get tossed as soon as they are identified as bad. This itself makes understanding what this does kind of difficult to fully understand.I plan to at least use some stand-offs and mount this to a board of some kind. I do not like that there is no protection from being shorted or damaged. I realize that you have to be able to access the IC sockets and see the LEDs. So I am not entirely certain what I will do after I am more familiar with how it operates.Instructions are not in the box, so you need to read about it on the product description page. However, to me, those instructions are not exactly clear (to me).So I have to rate this kind of middle of the road. I can not really verify anything good or bad about it other than better instructions/understanding would be a great help.
