I wanted to like this but it’s not perfect. Well built, but limited on applications. I was using this at a container yard with different types of containers and it unfortunately did not fit all the handles or was too strong and actually bent them. It works just as good as a slim crow bar and a mini sledgehammer and I found myself hesitant to even take it with me unless I was in a desperate situation.

I ordered the version 2 of this bar, but im not sure if i got the right one. Version 1 is about $80. I paid $120 + tax for the version 2 because people says the version 1 hits the locking bars or other parts of the container when you close it, but the one i got, hits the locking bar next to the one you are trying to close too. It seems like it needs an extra inch or at least half an inch bend backwards so it won’t hit on the other locking bars. I feel like putting it under a forklift to bend it a little bit more, but probably it would break. It close the middle bars perfectly, but not the ones on the side. I still have to hit the handles with a hammer to lock it in place. The coating is coming off too and i just have used it twice. Smh

This product is awesome! It has saved me… I am a switcher for several years, a petite female at 5’ 2” and often work with containers… these have been a life saver and have helped me to not hurt myself while opening and closing doors

What an improvement on opening stubborn doors!I drive rigs on weekends and this nifty tool has come in handy a few times in my short period of ownership.Not too heavy, but feels super solid. I'm 6'4" so bending over to unhook the fifth wheel always puts a small strain on my back. With this, reaching under and pulling is so much easier. I also generally don't have too much of a hard time opening trailers, but the few I struggled with were easily popped open with the extra leverage this provided. The added benefit of using it as a tire thumper is nice to have too.

This gives you a great amount of leverage on shipping container handles. So much so that I bent the handle on the container a bit. One of my containers has a very stubborn handle. This does work great at making it easer to open tuff handles and is worth having in the tool box if your dealing with this kind of thing.
