I had a similar pair from another manufacture that broke. These "may" be made slightly better - not sure.So far they work and the lens holder springs and the nose adjustment seems to work much better.BTW, only use for friends and family - so not much use - maybe 30 times before the other pair broke.

These trial frames are great, except for the nosepiece - on mine it is bent by a few degrees and makes it difficult to get a correct PD. Otherwise, it is a great product. Rotating the lenses is smooth and works well, all the adjustment knobs are as well. It is somewhat difficult to adjust the length of the arms though because you need to take them off and use a screwdriver to loosen a set screw, and then retighten it, put it back, and repeat until adjusted.

Only complaint, prongs are not as strong and I can see them snapping with repeated use. It's great for what it is, an inexpensive trial frame but still pretty good quality. Thev99 to 120 are better quality and more durable if you use all the time.

Works with UCanSee lens. Product is shipped direct from China. It arrived on the first expectation day, Total shipping time: about two weeks. In addition, the product was inspected at JFK customs.The product has many adjustments including temple, bridge, pd, and axis for astigmatism. With UCanSee lens and this trial frame, I was able to discover a number of mistakes with my current glasses and also in the new prescription from the ophthalmologist.

Bought it with trial lens kit to build my own prescription/glasses using online glasses shop. I feel them a bit heavy, wish to have better nose support and additional marks for rotating rings.

I bought this as a Birthday present for my sister who is going in to optometry. She loved it. Seems to be made of good quality materials.

The cyl lens part of the lens gets stuck with one of the little prong holders that gets stuck. I have to always make sure I adjust it every time I use it on a patient. It is a little annoying to have to do that but I guess you get what you pay for. The frames are very inexpensive and they do the job. Maybe I got a defective frame so that could just be it. I will attach a picture showing the part that always get stuck.
