As the headline says, the product works and does the job, making holes, but it's quite cheap. It arrived non assembled and I had to assemble it. It sometimes breaks and I have to put it back together. Not the best deal ever, but does the job still.

The packaging left much to be desired. It was totally smashed. The handle has a black patch on it. Looks likes it’s burned, and there is a jagged edge by it which is a bit annoying because my thumb rests there. It works well enough, and so I didn’t bother with a return. It rolls smoothly and totally saves time because I don’t have to poke holes in my pizza crust with a fork anymore. The Amazon description doesn’t say if it is dishwasher safe, and there was no info on the box. It doesn’t seem like it would be dishwasher safe, and it’s a nightmare to clean the individual spokes. Still worth the time saved though.

I bought this in preparation for my making 3 homemade oven rack sized pizzas. Lots of dough to poke! I had been using a fork to do that and when I got this for those big pizzas, it cut down the prep time so much! Plus, it was fun to roll it over the pizza dough and see all the wonderful holes in the dough. The tines did not pull up my ultra thin pizza dough and the handle is comfortable. Imagine this is a way the kids could help in the kitchen. This docker also cleans well in the dishwasher. What's not to like? I wish I had bought this years ago!

I actually bought this for my 12 year old pizza chef.She makes everything from sauce to dough from scratch so when she asked for a dough docker of course I got it for her. She has used it a over the last month and loves it. She sprays a little non-stick spray on it and rolls away. The crust comes out nice and crispy - no soggy. The docker itself is easy to clean - we put it in the top rack of the dish washer. because its made of plastic I store it away from other items so it doesn't get banged around - i may be wrong but I feel like the teeth could break off easily.For the price, ease of use & cleaning we love it. I totally recommend.

This funny looking little gadget is The Most Indispensable kitchen helper I've come across in a long, long time. I got my dough docker. on time, and nicely packed in a plastic bubble pouch.It is made completely of good quality plastic. I dropped it, so I KNOW it's good quality. Nothing broke. It's easy to clean. I ran it through the dishwasher, top-rack, with no problem. It held up fine.I tried it out immediately with shortbread. It made the best batch I've made in quite a while. No raw spots. No tough spots. Just heavenly, tender crunch. The holes it makes in the dough provide very even baking and tenderness. And it's SO much better than a fork. I pierced [docked] an 8x10 pan of shortbread in about 5 seconds. Try that with a fork. The ultimate turtle race.The roller glides along quickly and easily, It pierces deep enough, and spaced well, to totally eliminate any risk of steaming the dough into being tough,which anyone who makes shortbread knows can happen if you don't pierce thoroughly. Those batches become cookie crumbs simply because they're too hard to eat. This will Not happen with the docker.The Docker makes clean holes and does not tear or mess up the dough's surface like a fork often does. The shortbread cookies came out looking attractive enough for company.I dreamed someone would invent something like this, and one day there it was on Amazon. I couldn't believe my eyes! I jumped on it. It was exactly what I imagined it should look like.It's so unique that I never hesitated at the price. It's so well made that it is worth every penny.I love homemade pizza, but the crust eludes me. I stick to deep-dish to avoid embarrassment. Forget pie crusts. I'm famous for horrible ones where everybody eats just the filling.But this Docker should change my baking reputation for the better as I use it for different recipes. Pizza crust will be my next adventure, and then I will attempt a pie crust.With my new toy, I won't need luck this time.

The Orblue Dough Docker is a good tool to help prevent bubbles from forming under your pizza dough, and to ensure your crust comes out bakes evenly. My sister usually purchases premade dough from Trader Joes, and almost every time she makes pizzas, the dough bubbles up in a spot or two. This dough docker does a fine job when rolled over the dough - it pierces small holes into the dough and prevents the bubbling up. The dough docker rolls smoothly, is simple to clean, and feels quite durable. It's a nice tool to have in the kitchen if you make pizza or flatbreads often.
