This 8" wheel was a perfect fit for my Craftsman mower. The wheel has a rubber tread which is a lot more durable than plastic. The company says the wheel is universal and will fit all mowers. All you need is a 1/2" socket to take the old wheel off and put the new one on. I would recommend using a washer on the inside of the wheel. Do not over tighten the outside nut. The wheel needs to spin freely.

These were used to replace worn out wheels on a rotary lawnmower and have been in use for many months, still going perfectly. Saved me a fortune - the proprietary wheels would cost a king's ransom!

I saw a 90+ year old man trying to till a small garden plot with an very old tiller. The wheels were so worn out they were tilted at about a 45 deg angle. I took a wheel off and tried every lawnmower shop and no one had the wheel. I measured it and found the two wheels and the axel pins for it on Amazon. All I had to do to make it work was to add some washers to shim the wheels to match the old wheel position. It worked perfectly!

These wheels are much sturdier and more robust than I thought they'd be. For plastic hubs, and how much cheaper they are than most of the others on Amazon, I thought theses were going to be a quick temporary pair until I decide what I really want but the rubber is really solid and much thicker than I thought it'd be. I put them on my big heavy generator and they're holding it up just fine. Plus how often do you move the hurricane generator around (Florida)? Once or twice a year maybe. The rubber is a very dense, hard rubber like the tread on a car tire so I'm sure I won't have to worry about getting flat spots. Maybe I'll roll it around once a month just to be safe. My only mistake, the offset of the hub bore is only like a half inch and my original wheels had almost a two inch offset so there's a lot of play there. I'll have to grab some shorter bolts and cut down the bushing to make them fit more snugly and not wobble when I move it. Not a big deal but I'll probably do it anyways because I'm like that. Anyways, say goodbye to inFLATable tires! Great value for the price!
