Fit just like the original on my MTD snowblower. Put on just before winter hit Chicagoland this year and it doesn’t show any signs of wear after about 6 long uses. The difference it made was unbelievable.

I thought I reviewed this product already.... The scraper bar is a perfect fit for my old MTD single-stage snowthrower. Now I have a much more 'clean' passage over a surface after the rotating paddles and spirals gather up the snow and throw it out the discharge chute.Some people complain about the fact that it is "plastic". It is a very tough plastic, and I wonder what kind of surface you would be using your snowthrower on if the scraper bar must get all torn up in a year...(?). I expect this replacement scraper bar will last me the rest of my life, quite honestly. The original MTD scraper bar, which was identical to this replacement one, lasted for over 35 years. The cost was very reasonable, shipping was fast, and (this is important) all the holes were drilled precisely where they needed to be for a flawless fit.

from thickness to fitment etc. this part appears to be as good as the oem. I reduced one star because it was shipped in a bag instead of a box. When an item is plastic and it is cold and it bends in shipping; I had to flatten it back out. 1 day letting it warm up in the house. Another day flattening back out. Other than that seems good

The one I got looks nothing like the picture. I need to drill some holes in it before I can use it. The plus is that it's double sided so if one side wears down (and hopefully it doesn't shatter into a million pieces like the factory one on the snowblower) I'll be able to turn it around and use it again. OH, did I mention there are no holes in it? Yeah. There's that.
