Connected from Nvidia RTX 4070ti via HDMI 2.1, through 20m of cat6 cable, via HDMI 2.1 to Samsung S90c.4k 120 just doesn't work, 4k 60hz works but only without HDRThis is not what I expected/wanted and is useless to me

I grabbed this strictly for the ability to share my VR experience from my VR room to my living room entertainment system. This works surprisingly well and was so much easier to setup than fighting with a thick HDMI cable. There doesn't appear to be any loss in quality or lagging of sound and video from the experience as viewed on the computer screen. This is a complete win for this type of setup and I have no problem recommending it at all.

Nice quality, good signal, convenient IR remote:This product is physically well designed and feels nice and durable while handling. The metallic materials not only help to physically protect the units during transport or repositioning but also act as an effective heatsink, helping to prevent overheating during use. The product's video signal quality is also quite good, and the product so far has been able to transmit 4K quality images over a distance of about 90 feet without running into picture quality or lagging issues. The product's IR remote also enables a very convenient way to adjust the video without having to return to the source and makes outdoor watch parties much more enjoyable.Overall, this is a good product and I would recommend.

I recently upgraded my home entertainment setup with the OREI 4K @ 120hz HDMI Over Ethernet Extender Balun, and I'm thoroughly impressed with its performance. Here's why I highly recommend it:Stunning 4K @ 120Hz ResolutionThe OREI HDMI extender delivers stunning 4K resolution at a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, providing an immersive viewing experience with crystal-clear detail and fluid motion. Whether I'm streaming movies, playing video games, or displaying presentations, the picture quality is exceptional.Single CAT6/7 Cable TransmissionI appreciate the convenience of using a single CAT6/7 Ethernet cable to transmit HDMI signals over long distances. This not only simplifies installation but also reduces clutter and cost compared to traditional HDMI cables. The extender supports distances of up to 100 feet, allowing me to place my source device and display wherever I choose.HDR SupportThe extender supports High Dynamic Range (HDR) content, enhancing the contrast and color accuracy of my video playback. Whether I'm watching HDR movies or playing HDR-enabled games, the OREI extender ensures that I experience the full impact of HDR content.IR Control and RS-232The inclusion of IR control and RS-232 capabilities adds versatility to the extender, allowing me to control my devices remotely and integrate them into larger automation systems. This feature is especially useful for home theater setups and professional AV installations.Audio L/R OutputThe extender also features audio L/R output via CAT6/7, ensuring that I can enjoy high-quality sound along with my video playback. This eliminates the need for separate audio cables and simplifies the overall setup.Overall SatisfactionOverall, I am extremely satisfied with the OREI 4K @ 120hz HDMI Over Ethernet Extender Balun. Its support for 4K @ 120Hz resolution, single CAT6/7 cable transmission, HDR compatibility, IR control, RS-232 capabilities, and audio L/R output make it a versatile and high-performance solution for extending HDMI signals. My husband uses these on film sets and loves them. They aren't over-packed with unnecessary features and get the job done reliably and with no significant latency or any other issues. The build quality is top-notch, too. Big OREI fans over here.

Couple of games I want to sit on the couch and play with my waifu, and I still want the best graphics. But do I want to lug my gaming PC across the house. No, I do not. I wouldn't try to play E-sports on it (although I personally don't notice much in the way of lag other than a hitch here and there). I tested at 4k60, and I had some initial hitching that appeared to go away after cable adjustment. I plan on replacing one of my more questionable HDMI cables- as they say garbage in, garbage out, and you need every piece of this connection to be optimal to avoid any issues. For movie watching- I can't imagine there'd be ANY issues as the sound and video are send the same way. Also worth noting- in my experience, this goes way further on the cat6 than rated. Although I'm not sure how long you'd really want the cable in this instance.

These two boxes do pretty much what they're advertised to do , I was able to run my rtx 3080 PC over Ethernet to my upstairs and game at high refresh rates on my OLED TV ! I'm giving this product 4/5 stars because I feel like it should also have a built in USB hub or kvm for devices & I also experience a few screen glitches when first connecting or rebooting the boxes the TV takes a second to initialize and get the signal correct. During gameplay and watching movies I had no issues for the most part however I will be moving away from a setup like this because it just involves too many cables for me! More advancements in game streaming technology makes almost no need for these in my particular use case. 4/5
