When both arms are fully swaddled using outer wrap, prevents self-waking from startle reflex combined with stretchy material creating a womb-like effect. When outer wrap is removed, the patented mesh-wing design gently helps baby control arms transitioning them from full swaddle to no swaddle. Our advanced, silent soft hook and loop closure is easily adjustable and soft to the touch as to not disturb a sleeping baby.
  • The 0-3 month age range is American Pediatric Association's general recommended guideline for safe sleeping. This swaddle's sweet spot is 12-17 lbs. However, the swaddle has been tested for babies over 17 lbs with ample room for growth! With four-way stretch fabric along with the fully adjustable, removable wrap, we are confident you will find great use in the swaddle for the first three months or longer if there are no signs of rolling over. Do not use when baby shows signs of turning over.

  • Washing Instructions: Machine Wash Cool with like colors in the provided wash bag for extra protection. Tumble Dry Low. Hang Dry if Possible. Do not bleach or dry-clean. Incredibly soft and high quality. In love with the silent Velcro, making it easy to transition baby without waking them. Great for transitioning to being unswaddled with the butterfly arm. Highly recommend for your new baby! Ours is 3 months and still loving this swaddle purchase!

We received our new swaddle yesterday. I used it for first time today and baby and I both love it1. I love that it holds his arm at his sides2. I love the soft cozy material3. I love that the velcro is so quiet and easy to open4. I love that it comes with its own laundry bag5. I love that the baby will use it for several months as he eventually will transition to not needing the velcro section which is # 6 . i love the separate velcro mid section that you have the option to leave off as they transition. As a Certified Newborn Care Specialist, I’ve worked with a lot of different swaddles, and the Butterfly Swaddle is one of my absolute favorites! It’s so easy to use, even for parents who might feel overwhelmed by swaddling for the first time. The adjustable Velcro wings make it simple to get a snug fit, which helps babies feel safe and secure!One of the things I really love about this swaddle is how soft and breathable the fabric is. It’s cozy enough to keep babies comfortable but light enough to prevent overheating, which is so important!!I’ve used the Butterfly Swaddle with many families, and it consistently helps babies sleep better and longer. I’m a seasoned doula and newborn care specialist and had yet been able to try the butterfly swaddle- I kept hearing amazing things, and I finally had the opportunity to try it with a client and all I can say is WOW 🤩🤩🤩🤩!!!! It is amazingly soft, silent, actually holds the babies arms in place and isn’t restrictive at all. This product will be on my list of products I always send clients to purchase! Love love love it! I wanted to like this especially with the no Velcro, but unfortunately the fabric bunches up and occludes his mouth. The zipper is just too stiff and doesn’t lie flat on the body. Made me nervous to put him to sleep in this.
