A soothing and moisturizing cream formulation, Sit. Stay. Forever's Organic Sunscreen is rapidly absorbed and quickly gets to work nourishing raw, inflamed skin. Using organic natural and 100% non-toxic ingredients, the rich cream offers multi oil protection from the damaging effects of the sun. Hemp, Red Raspberry and Carrot Seed Oils are the active ingredients in this protective and restorative cream. The FDA does not regulate SPF for pets. We have chosen oils which are known to be chemically safe and offer the highest sun protection. Large 4 oz tin.
CARROT SEED OIL
100% Pure Cold Pressed Refined Organic. Anti-Oxidant rich which protect and repair skin from damage caused by overexposure to the sun. Stimulates the growth and rejuvenation of new skin cells. Up to 38-40 SPF.
HEMP SEED OIL

RED RASPBERRY SEED OIL
100% Pure Cold Pressed Refined Organic powerful anti-oxidant that repairs and protects skin from environmental aggressors. Provides unsurpassed nourishment to the skin. Consists of 85% fatty acids, of which 33% is Omega-3. High in Vitamin E. One of the best natural outdoors skin protectors. Up to 28-50 SPF.
Sunlight has beneficial effects for horses, including the manufacture of vitamin D by the skin, relief of muscle and tendon stiffness or soreness and possibly even improved immunity. But horses with pink-skinned areas may suffer sunburn if overexposed and could be at higher risk for equine skin cancer over the years.
A particularly severe type of sun reaction is photo sensitivity, where the skin becomes red, swollen, and cracks open. Crusts will develop, and loss of the skin can occur. These reactions can easily develop infections and are extremely painful. The reactions only occur in pink-skinned areas. When horses have the pink skin/white hair on their legs, photo sensitivity reactions may be confused with scratches/"dew poisoning" or chigger infestations.
Our sun screen can definitely help in the day to day routine of sun management. As with any natural product, success depends on regular repeated schedule of applications. Apply frequently during the day; before and after going outside. Use a towel and apply liberal amounts to all white areas, muzzle, ears legs around the tail, where ever needed.

I tried this product on my Palomino. Due to the hardness of the sunscreen, I'm not sure if I'm spreading enough on his muzzle.

This is not sunscreen as advertised! All the ingredients are oils which will work like a tanning oil on skin! My horses nose was severely sunburnt within 2 days of use

My horse would agree that this is the preferred product to avoid sunburned nose. Unlike Desitin- which my horse hates - he doesn’t mind this, and so he doesn’t immediately rub it off. Plus it’s thicker and stickier, clear not white or gooey, and also helps heal existing sunburned skin.

We purchased this to protect the nose of my old horse with a large blaze. He doesn't object to the scent and allows me to rub it on easilly. It has protected his skin wonderfully.

This worked great for my pup. Altho it has a horse on it. I was very pleased with how well it worked and how it didn’t have an odor. Would definitely recommend it.

My little mare has always been sunburnt on the white part of her nose. It often get to the point where it is chapped and peeling. She doesn’t get burned if I faithfully apply some of this on sunny days. It doesn’t irritate her skin and there are no foul odors etc. Works great, even on sensitive areas like the very end of her nose.
