These cable stops look better than Shimano in my opinion, I prefer the black for my bike.They work just as well as Shimano, I've had both.The only negative is they don’t sit totally flush to frame but it doesn’t bother me or look bad.

These are just few dollars cheaper then regular Shimano ones. Shimano ones has a more tight fitment in installation. But these Origin8 are very good quality. I mean I does what it’s suppose to do. Good parts well worth $16.

Awesome little bracket! I installed it on the bottom of a chain stay and it works perfect. I ground a slot in provided screw which made it self tapping. Converted an old land rider into a 7 speed.

The boss’s on my Cannondale road bike completely broke off so I had to improvise a little and this item worked perfectly!!! I haven ran cable as I’m looking for a new group set at the moment but I’m sure I won’t have any problems with the cable routing.

They are bulky and don't fit nice. I had to Dremel out the hole to make them sit near the downtube. I should have bought the Shimano ones that I've used in the past and liked but I wanted black and didn't want to paint anything.

OMG are these ugly.Finish is OK (you get what you pay for, but no gaps and overall uniform), but the overall shape just looks kluged when it is placed on a bike. That's something that you just can't see until you put it on a bike. (I sometimes tell people I made these with scraps from the shop.). It looks like, to me, a lightly machined casting and on the plus side, the matt-like finish should be paintable, and they are relatively cheap... which is why I got them. Shipping was as expected and the product functions well... just screw it on where your downtube shifters would mount and viola! Frame cable stops for the F/R mechs. The metal adjusters function smoothly and have a nice grip. However, they don't match the body (adjusters are glossy and the mounts are flat black) No rattles and the pre-242-loctite on the fasteners is a nice touch. Only years will tell how corrosion resistant the fastener-heads are.
