Just what I wanted to give myself an alternate hand position on longer rides. Very lightweight but still feel sturdy.

These might work well on a kid's bike, but they're very short and thin, and won't fit onto an adult bike handle.

Handle bar feels much sturdier since installing. Very high quality piece.

Nice handles easy to fit, I was hoping for a straighter bend, but it does what i wanti used these as part of a spin bike upgrade, to ride more upright. the middle part of the build, they worked well, but fell just short of perfect, added the rubberized grips, and all came together great. The kit did not come with a hex wrench, luckily I had the right size from a prior project, it did come with 2 spare end caps.

So these do exactly what I ordered them for, extend the handles on my sons umbrella stroller. However, it took a hour (and lots of sweat and (I admit) tears) to get these onto the handles. I mistakenly thought they would open up to be bigger for me to slide onto the handles, I was very wrong. By the time I realised it was too painstaking to put these darn things on the stroller handles, they were too damaged to return so I stuck with it and fought with them and the stroller to get them to fit. Only to tear the foam on the original handles and have the screw misaligned on the extenders. I’m too stubborn to give up and this point and was determined to make it work. After a couple (hundred) words of profanity not fit for a lady, (luckily my son was napping), I was able to allign the screws and tighten the extenders onto the original handles. They were too loose now from when the foam had ripped... so I then invested in strong tape to hold them in place.Long story short and bruised palms and fingers later, don’t buy these as umbrella handle extenders, it’s not worth the stress. However I bet they work perfect as the intended bike handle extenders. If you do buy them for my intended purpose, good luck.

First impressions. Today I got my little antlers. Installation was a breeze. Thanks to the reviewer who gave the tip with the glass cleaner. I lifted my rubber grips a little with a scredriver and sprayed glasscleaner in. They become slippery and I could easily move them in a little (also the brake and shifters of course). Then installed the bar ends in an angle that seems natural to me and went on a test ride. I just started biking again after a hiatus of about 20 years, so I'm not fit. I recently git a Norco Storm 2 29" with an XXl frame. I am 6'4" and 245lbs and this is the first bike in my life that fits me. That said, prior to the bar ends my hands got numb after about 25 minutes. Very irritating. I figured, these bar ends give me more options to play around with hand positions and I was right. It worked like a charm. I still get a little hand pain but I think a little MTFU is gonna fix that. The numbness is completely gone. Also, on uphill portions (I live in Texas, so don't imagine too much) I have a lot more strength in high gears when I switch to the upper hand positions. Gives a nice little extra pull. I am happy. If something mentionable happens, I will update.

Nice bars and they fit really good. Not sure if they will help wrist or hand pain but sitting up a straighter on long runs is a lot more enjoyable and worth their cost

Let me preface this by saying: I didn't use these on a bike. My wife and I just bought a double stroller on amazon that she was having trouble using without kicking her feet into the rear wheel axle. Since we liked everything else about the stroller, I was looking for a way to extend the handlebar for her.For anyone else interested in doing this, the stroller handles/bars were 5/8 of an inch. These are meant for regular bike handlebars which are around 7/8 of an inch. Since they don't fit like they should for my improper application, I wrapped the bars with rubber before installing these. I can't provide a link to the rubber I used, but I can tell you it was rubber roofing membrane around 1/16 of an inch (I used to be a roofer) that I cut into 1 inch strips then wrapped around the bar a few times before installing these. That gives a non-slip surface to the handles. There were initially some foam grips on the stroller handlebars, so I scooted them out of the way. Then I completely unscrewed the screws (alan wrench) attached the bar ends then I used a basic chisel (a flat head screwdriver would probably work) to pry the opening open (to avoid having to take apart the stroller and slide the bar ends over). Once I had them over the rubber, I just put the screw back into each one and tightened them down. They work pretty well... but I stripped one of the screws trying to tighten it, so that one is a little loose. Either way, it's better than dealing with the short handle bar for my wife. I'll update this post with pictures next time I'm on here. I would recommend these for a stroller application. Give it a shot. You may have a better idea than me. If you do, respond and let me know.

Just what the 'doctor' ordered. I have a Trek hybrid and ride approx. 15-20 miles on each outing, mainly on dedicated bike path, but also in traffic. I ride for fitness and go all out. I had been feeling some pain in my wrists from always being in the same position, to the point where, for relief, I began to sometimes hold the ends of the bars with my palms vertical. But this is dangerous, of course. After some research, I ordered the ProPulsion bar ends. They arrived promptly and installed fairly easily. I did have to cut a round hole in the ends of the factory grips and move the grips inboard about 3/4 inch to accommodate the bar ends, but this was expected. (I used the alcohol and hairspray method for the grips. Look it up; it works.)The bar ends are very comfortable and solved my wrist issue well. In traffic or when pedestrians are nearby, I use the factory grips. When the path ahead is clear, I switched to the bar ends. The shape is perfect for support and comfort. The bare metal is very hard though, so I have wrapped them with a few layers of 'Ninja tape' which adheres to itself without adhesive. Love my bar ends!Since adding the bar ends, the wrist pain has stopped, and I have added 3-4 miles to my regular circuit.
