I needed one to put in my existing buckle with the outer plastic broken off; it was difficult to find the sweet spot to insert the buckle without it. Putting one of these extenders in it fixed that issue without having to install a whole new buckle system.I ordered two sets, so I use the other 3 as extenders for the kids to not have to dig them from between the seats. Win win!

Ok, I spend a lot of time in my company vehicle as it's essentially my "office" away from the office. In the past I've had some serious back pain, that I eventually traced down to the ergonomics of my company vehicle's seat bottom angle putting my hips in a bad position, causing nerve compression in my lower back. The solution for me was as simple as a seat wedge to alter the angle such that it agrees with my spine. However, this added thickness in the seat bottom meant that the seatbelt buckle was recessed and somewhat hard to access. Then, in the winter months, when wearing bulky layers of outerwear, the seatbelt buckle was even more difficult to access. Lay a water bottle between my hips and the center console, as I often do, and... Well, you get my point... I just received these extenders a few days ago and am now really perturbed that I hadn't found these sooner! I started using on for the driver's side the morning after receiving them, and now can't imagine being without it. Sometimes it's the small things... But removing the hassle of putting on, and taking off, my seatbelt is one of those small things that always annoyed me, but that is now a complete non-issue. I can't say if they're for everyone, but I can say that it you find the reach to your seatbelt buckle somewhat troublesome, for whatever reason, these just may make your life easier. I know they did for me!Hopefully someone will find this info useful or helpful in some way.
