I’ve had these shoes for YEARS in black. When (if) they wear out, I buy a new pair in the same color. It’s a classic look. I’ve got big ol’ clown feet though and have to remove the soles for a comfortable fit at size 14. I finally branched out and bought a pair of these in gray, left the soles in, and have come to the conclusion that my feet hurt a little bit—but they are twice as warm. So… comfort or function? That’s your choice.

I am 6 to 6.5 in women’s shoe. I ordered a 5 and it fits perfect. If they stretch out they might end up being too big but I can always get thick insoles and I believe that would be fine if they stretch bc they are brand new and fit perfect.
