We noticed our SNOO had started making creaking noises during use. After taking it apart, I found a pile of rubber dust scattered around the motor and saw that a few of the larger O-rings had snapped. Thankfully, the motor still turned freely by hand (just like the product description said to check).I only needed my own screwdriver—the included tools made the rest of the job much easier and helped avoid damaging anything during “operation SNOO.” I also took the opportunity to clean the inside, which had gotten pretty gross after two LOs.Once everything was cleaned and reassembled, the noise was gone and the SNOO worked just like it used to.Disappointed this seems to be such a common problem for such an expensive bassinet, but grateful the fix was straightforward, even for someone without much DIY experience.
