Keep in in your RV, Boat, backpack, vechicle….never know when. It’s large enough to see from quite a distance. Place it right next to your emergency blanket.

Not near as flimsy as cheaper, thinner flags (that serve their purpose too). Some parks expect them even on paddleboards, so the flag will be in a container that's used for everything. I can attach it to the paddle handle and have it ten feet in the air.

Flag is large and in time if needed, the coast guard could easily see it.

Finally, after hearing from a game warden friend that his number one citation to boats even on inland lakes is the lack of distress flags, I found them on Amazon. I couldn't find them anywhere to in Clyde Walmart. Very happy camper and boater here.

The distress flag has not been used, thankfully, however it meets the need. It is of reasonable thickness, and seems to be made of good enough quality.
