Ist zwar preislich kein Leichtgewicht, hat aber eine sehr gute Abtastqualität und ist durch seine Bauform auch schnell auswechselbar. Auch andere Nadeln der Baureihe sind an den Generator, wenn gewünscht - aufsetzbar . Gegenüber dem Ortofon Concorde MK2 Elite ist der Klang etwas feiner aufgelöst, ohne zu sehr an Dynamik zu verlieren, auch wenn seine Ausgangsspannung etwas niedriger ist (8,5 zu 5 mV). Durch den geringen Auflagedruck 1,5 g auch plattenschonend. Sehr empfehlenswert für elektronische Musik, sowie im Pop/Rock - Bereich mit nicht so anspruchsvoller Gesangsqualität wie z.B. Barbra Streisand oder heavy metal (dort dann eher MC Ortofon Quintet Black S - wenn möglich).

Ho testato la nuova Ortofon Concorde Music Blue con lo stesso disco su due Technics diversi e la vecchia puntina nell'altro (Ortofon Concorde Gold).Notevole il miglioramento nelle frequenze medie e alte, un suono complessivamente meno ovattato e con maggior dettaglio! Tanta roba!

Great sound and a must have. I also have the Red, also a great cartridge. The Blue has a slightly different tone, seems to make some albums brighter.....in any case, Great Products!

I had the "Ortofon MK2 Club" needle before this one in my possession. Only I noticed that in the high the sound often hissed and did not sound pure enough. I can tell you that this needle ORTOFON MUSIC BLUE absolutely does not have this hissing and even plays "worse" records perfectly without hindrance in playing the "high". Also the background noise when the record has some damage is "minimal" and almost the same as the MK2 needles. For me this is the perfect needle. Lots of detail - super pure sound !! For me the search is over for the time being to find the perfect needle for my SL1200 MK2 technics turntable. Please be aware of the needle pressure: MK2 needs 3gr and this Blue one only 1,8.

Vorweg: Ich finde den Abnehmer super! Verwenden tue ich einen Denon DP-400 USB an einem Marantz C60 (also nix aufregendes) und hatte bisher den mitgelieferten Standardtonabnehmer installiert. An sich schon gute Qualität und guter Klang, wie ich finde. Aber um mal zu testen, ob da noch was geht und besser klingt, habe ich mir aus Freude den Concord Music Blue bestellt. Der Klang danach war echt unglaublich - viel mehr Raum und Hülle, mehr Höhen, viel mehr Tiefen, deutlichere und klarere leise Passagen. Ich bin hin und weg und muss sagen, des sich der Wechsel gelohnt hat.WICHTIG:Leider ist der Abnehmer 4mm im Überhang und in der Kröpfung zu lang! Liegt sicher am wunderschönen Design. Dass wusste ich nicht - muss aber an der Stelle erwähnt werden - für die Fanatiker unter euch. Da er sich nicht verdrehen lässt, sitzt der Kopf auf der Ortofon-Justierscheibe somit auch leicht schräg auf.Da die Nadel aber dennoch hervorragend tastet und klingt und das Paket zudem richtig fett gut ausschaut, lasse ich es dran - ich höre nur gelegentlich mal ein Stück oder zwei, da wird, hoffe ich, schon nicht so schnell was kaputt gehen. I understand this is the midrange product in the line, but a remarkable difference over the red.. looks great with my 1210gr2.. interested in the black stylus upgrade, but wow noticable difference..

Without going through a technical analysis, I'm so glad Ortofon brought its Concorde stylus to home users with this newish "Music" version. I think it sounds even cleaner and livelier than the regular Ortofon Blue cart. But what I really love about it is, unlike traditional carts that have to be fiddled with for perfect synchronization, the Concorde Music Blue is literally "Plug n Play." Of course you still have to balance the tone arm but none of the other adjustments are needed.
