OK this is one of those tools that I always thought was a gimmick. The term multi-tool makes me think of a tool that does a lot of things but none of them well. I watch a lot of DIY videos and noticed more and more people using them so I finally broke down and bought one with a cord. It sat for over a year before I had an actual need to use it and it was like the light bulb came on. Great tool. I got this one because it is cordless (yes, now I have 2) and this thing is great. Its variable speed, feels great in. your hand, feels like good quality. Comes with all the blades and attachments for different materials, sanding, cutting, etc. Now it does only come with one of each so you will likely need to get more as multi-tool blades wear out fairly quickly. That being said, this is a must have for any DIYer.

I have both a battery-operated and a corded oscillating tool, and this one gets used more often because it's so handy. It's powerful, efficient, and perfect for quick jobs around the house. I really like it!
