How to keep the canopy up and stable in strong winds?
1. Used on the sand beach
-- Fill the 8 sandbags with as much sand as you can, make sure the tent is tight. Put the 8 sandbags farther apart to get the right balance.
-- Dig a hole in the sand. Then bury the sandbags.
2. Used on the grass
--Fill the sandbags with stone and install ground nails into the ground.
How to set up the beach tent?
1. Pick your spot. Stretch the tent out evenly over a flat surface.
2. Fill the sandbags with sand until overflows. (Fill the sandbags with more sand for increased anchoring)
3. Slot the poles together. Position the two poles A and tie the ball end up the bungee cord.
Note: It is recommended to rotate to install or remove the poles.
4. Insert the other end of the tent pole deep into the sand. (Avoid slanting the poles into the sand, as it may make it less stable)
5. Realign the sandbags the poles to fully stretch the tent out.
6. Screw in the pole anchors at the position of the poles. Insert the poles and secure.
7. Optionally. Prop up the support pole B as per your needs.
8. Dig a deep hole and bury the sandbags in the sand to make the tent more stable.
The canopy is made of Lycra with UPF 50+ coating, which greatly reduces the chances of getting sunburned. It will also effectively block sun heat and help keep you and your family away from the harmful sunlight.

I've had this for little over 2 months now and love this thing. Big enough for my entire family to sit/stand. The 8 points of weight provide great stability in high winds. Def get an extra pole or two so you can put a pole into the wind, this will help fill the tent with air and help stabilize. Setup is real easy, 1 person about 10-15 mins once you know what you're doing. All in all very impressed with the design and function of the tent.However, some improvements/cons I've noted. 1) the seams of the tent aren't great, I imagine over time they will wear in high strength winds. 2) the shovels that come in this kit are garbage, you'll need your own/better shovel. 3) only 1 color option??I'm giving 4 stars for this. I would love to see a 2.0 version come out and with more colors!

It looks impressive on the beach and it provides a nice shade. It’s ideal for 6 to 8 people any more and you will be fighting for shade. Very easy to build and lightweight

I believe this might be the best sun/shade canopy on the market. Not only is it HUGE, but I was able to put it up by MYSELF in less than 10 mins. So EASY and so light to carry.

Awesome product. Super to set up up. Holds up in heavy wind on the beach. It does set slightly lower than the old school beach tents but still an awesome product.

Used this many times on our vacation at the beach. Not as fast to setup as those that only have four legs but provided much more shade and was much larger. We easily fit our family of 6 under this on shade. Poles and sand anchors seem to be of reasonable quality and the fabric lasted well in some very windy days. Because the sides dip down further than other similar tents when it's windy you really need more than 3 support poles. We used two from our other similar shade on the windward side to prop it up further, which worked very well. The plastic shovels worked but were much more flimsy than our other similar shade.
