I really wanted to love this pack, it felt great wearing it while skiing, it was a great size, the hip belt was comfy, the shoulder straps felt great and snug buuuuuutttttttt…….so much snow would get into the pack. The flap wouldn’t cover the access to the main pack or Avy gear pouch unless the bag is stuffed tight. I did carry enough to stuff it full so I got a ton of falling snow into the main compartment of the pack. My insulated puffy, extra gloves and socks were all wet from the amount of snow that made it in. A roll top with a buckle would have made this pack my forever pack, but I ended up returning it. Can’t have wet equipment that I need to stay warm.

This is a great backpack for overnight camping trips or extra long skiing adventures. The backpack has enough room for almost all the items that you need for overnight camping and still have enough room on the outside to hang more items with. The backpack is semi water proof for unfriendly weather condition and has a good amount of water repellent materials kick water off. The sidepockets are where this backpack shines, it's extra long and flexible allowing you to fit almost any gear you need within reach. The backpack straps are also designed in a way that's easy for you to put on and secure while doing ski trips. Overall great backpack to take on ski trips or just camping out in the backcountry!

My forth Osprey backpack. Each one of them has lasted for years of heavy use (multiple international airline travel too) and usual just throw them in the trunk of the car. This pack seems it will hold up the same for years of abuse and still look classy. The color as opposed to my other Ospreys is lighter and is prone to get dirty but I think that would look fine. I sometimes prefer the worn out look of the bags...just to boast!Osprey markets this as snow and ski backpack even though there is nothing stopping you from using it everywhere which is what I have done in the past month. It did accumulate a few stains and dirt but nothing of concern. The cinch closure at the top is convenient and preferred over other styles of closures for me at least. I have always found the ones with cinch close backpacks compress better after they have been filled up to brim.If you are really frugal with your supplies I think one can take it on 2-3 day trip but personally I would keep it as a day pack. For a day pack, there is a lot of room for all the essentials plus extras. And lastly, the comfort. Like all other Ospreys, this is 10/10 on comfort because of all the well designed straps and support. My only concern at this point is the price which seems rather high. However as they say, buy once buy right. This would be worth every penny years down the line.

This hiking backpack truly shines in all sorts of weather, particularly in snowy or damp conditions, thanks to its water-resistant exterior. Whether you’re trekking through a light drizzle or navigating a snowy trail, this pack keeps your gear dry and protected. One of the standout features is the sheer variety of ways you can attach or store your equipment. The versatility is truly impressive; from lashing extra gear to securely stowing it away, this pack has you covered. I’m especially fond of the large zippered pocket, which is perfect for storing crampons, gloves, or other essentials you want to keep easily accessible. The options for organizing your gear seem almost endless, and I have a feeling I’ll only ever discover a fraction of the possibilities this pack offers. When it comes to size, I opted for the small/medium version, specifically because I’m 5’3” tall and often find it challenging to find a backpack that fits comfortably. Many packs tend to sit awkwardly on my frame, either being too large or not providing the right kind of support. However, this pack is different. The lower back support is positioned exactly where it should be, giving me the support I need without any discomfort. It feels as though it was designed with someone like me in mind, and I couldn’t be happier with how it fits.In terms of overall design, this backpack is lightweight and slim, making it easy to carry without feeling bulky. Despite its streamlined appearance, it offers ample storage space and excellent organization options. Osprey has a well-deserved reputation for crafting high-quality bags, and this one is no exception. This is actually the fourth bag I’ve purchased from Osprey, and every single one has exceeded my expectations. Their attention to detail, durability, and thoughtful design continue to impress me, making them my go-to brand for outdoor gear. I can confidently say this pack is another winner in my collection!

This has been an outstanding pack that I took out with me several times this summer. I took a chance on the sandy-grey color rather than getting a pack in the black and I'm so glad I did. The color is so sharp looking in person, and both stands out (in that it's not a black pack) but then also is is subtle because of the muted tone. The bag is ultra light weight while also being heavy duty. Osprey bags can carry a ton, while the bag itself is light as a feather. The zippers all pull smooth and as expected there's a bunch of compartments for keeping things in place. There's lassos on the sides that are designed for hiking with skis which is a handy added feature that most packs don't have,Whether you're using this for travel or the outdoors, it's an outstanding bag!

i really like osprey bags, i have another smaller one that i reach for during most hike days and wanted one that was a bit bigger. the color is neutral which is great, but the pop of orange is a nice touch. it's lightweight which is a major plus and is waterproof/can withstand being thrown around outside.
