I bought this to replace my old one that stopped working, because I was having abdominal surgery and will be eating steamed foods for months. Imagine my disappointment at receiving the steamer in a faded, busted-up box that led me to believe the steamer was either used or sitting in a warehouse for a very long time (years). Worse, I have to keep a tray under it because water leaks out the bottom.Very disappointed.

This is the best steamer and actually my second one owned. I decided to pass on my other steamer to my kids to use and could not go without one for myself so decided if I could get the exact same model I would be happy, so I did. I know I paid a lot more today, but this product has lasted me at least 20 years and that’s staying power for kitchen appliances. I love it! !! It cooks perfect veggies and rice with very easy clean up. Get it, don’t question it💯

Bought this item used. It came as advertised: "Tested – Fully functional – in excellent working conditions". Item was clean, looked like it had never been used. Was packed well with layers of bubble wrap and cardboard. Sent promptly upon payment. User manual is available online. We have been very pleased with this brand and style of vegetable steamer over several decades. It heats up very quickly and you can cook nearly anything in the tray or baskets. Plastic inserts rinse clean from most foods. One drawback to this model is that the vents in the lid are very close to the handle and it would be easy to burn yourself. The water level indicator on the side is hard to read, if you need to check water levels you have to lift the trays. Otherwise a very simple vegetable cooker to use.

We finally had to replace the Oster steamer that we have had for over 10 years. The old one still works, but the plastic baskets finally gave out. I would buy this steamer every 10 years if I have to. It works well and steams evenly.
